- Father: Clovis King of the FRANKS
- Mother: Clotilde SAINT de Bourgogne
- Birth: 496, Reims, Kingdom of Austrasia, Frankish Empire
- Title Of Nobility: King of the Franks at Paris, 511, Paris, Gaul, Kingdom of the Franks
- LifeSketch: From Wikipedia- Childebert I (c. 496 – 13 December 558) was a Frankish King of the Merovingian dynasty, as third of the four sons of Clovis I who shared the kingdom of the Franks upon their father's death in 511. He was one of the sons of Saint Clotilda, born at Reims. He reigned as King of Paris from 511 to 558 and Orléans from 524 to 558. Biography The division of the lands of Gaul to the sons of Clovis I upon his death in 511. In the partition of the realm, Childebert received as his share the town of Paris, the country to the north as far as the river Somme, to the west as far as the English Channel, and the Armorican peninsula (modern Brittany). His brothers ruled in different lands: Theuderic I in Metz, Chlodomer in Orléans, and Clothar I in Soissons. In 523, Childebert participated with his brothers in a war against Godomar of Burgundy. Chlodomer died in the Battle of Vézeronce (524). Thereafter, concerned that the three sons of Chlodomer would inherit the kingdom of Orléans, Clothar conspired with Childebert to oust them. They sent a representative to their mother Clotilde, who as the queen mother had authority as the head of the family line. The representative presented a pair of scissors and a sword, offering her the choice to shear the three young boys, thereby depriving them of the long hair considered a symbol of royal power, or to have them killed. She famously replied, "It is better for me to see them dead rather than shorn, if they are not raised to the kingship".[1] After the murder of Chlodomer's two elder children—the third, Clodoald, escaping to a monastic life—Childebert annexed the cities of Chartres and Orléans. He took part in later various expeditions against the kingdom of Burgundy. He besieged Autun in 532 and, in 534, having conquered the kingdom along with his brother Clothar and Theuderic's son Theudebert I, received as his share of the spoils of that kingdom the towns of Mâcon, Geneva, and Lyons. When Witiges, the king of the Ostrogoths, ceded Provence to the Franks in 535, the possession of Arles and Marseilles was guaranteed to Childebert by his brothers. The annexation of that province was completed, with Clotaire's help, in the winter of 536–537. In 531, he received pleas from his sister Chrotilda, wife of King Amalaric of the Visigoths. The Arian king of Hispania, Chrotilda claimed, was grossly mistreating her, a Catholic. Childebert went down with an army and defeated the Gothic king. Amalaric retreated to Barcelona, where he was assassinated. Chrotilda died on her return journey to Paris of unknown causes. Childebert made other expeditions against the Visigoths. In 542, he took possession of Pamplona with the help of his brother Clotaire and besieged Zaragoza, but was forced to retreat. From this expedition he brought back to Paris a precious relic, the tunic of Saint Vincent, in honour of which he built at the gates of Paris the famous monastery of Sainte-Croix-et-Saint-Vincent, known later as St-Germain-des-Prés. He died on 13 December 558, and was buried in the abbey he had founded, where his tomb has been discovered.[2] St-Germain-des-Prés became the royal necropolis for the Neustrian kings until 675.[3] He left no sons, only two daughters, Chrodoberge and Chrodesinde, by his wife Ultragotha. Childebert was an acquisitive monarch. He expanded his domains in more foreign wars than any of his brothers, fighting in Burgundy (more than once), Spain (more than once), Provence, and elsewhere in Gaul. Gregory of Tours, a contemporary Neustrian, cites Childebert as saying: "Velim unquam Arvernam Lemanem quae tantae jocunditatis gratia refulgere dicitur, oculis cernere" ("Would that I could set eyes on the Auvergne Limagne, which is spoken of so highly"). Childbert was also one of the more religious of the sons of Clovis, cooperating with his brothers, rescuing his sister, and constructing the famous monastery of Saint Vincent to house his relics. Ancestry His father was Clovis I and his mother was Clotilde. They had 5 children: 1. Chlotaire I, King of Soissons 2. Childebert I, King of Paris 3. Chlodomir I, King of Orleans 4. Theodoric I, King of Reims 5. Chlotilde, Queen Consort of Amalric of the Visigoths

- Also known as: Clemen ap Bledric of Dumnonia
- Title Of Nobility: King of Dumonia
- LifeSketch: When King Clemen of Dumnonia was born about 0555, in Monmouthshire, Wales, United Kingdom, his father, King Bledric ap Custennin , of Dumnonia, was 25 and his mother, Mrs Bledric ap Custennin, was -5. He had at least 2 sons. He died about 0630, in Devon, England, United Kingdom, at the age of 75. Clemen ruled following the death of his father, killed at Battle of Bangor-is-Coed. It is thought that Clemen was king when the Britons fought the Battle of Beandun (possibly Bindon near Axmouth in Devon[4]) in 614, when the Anglo Saxon Chronicle tells us King Cynegils and his son Cwichelm of Wessex invaded Dumnonia, possibly taking advantage of the death of his father.

He is often known as Constantine I in reference to his place in modern lists of kings of Scots, but contemporary sources described Causantín only as a Pictish king. A son of Cináed mac Ailpín ("Kenneth MacAlpin"), he succeeded his uncle Domnall mac Ailpín as Pictish king following the latter's death on 13 April 862. It is likely that Causantín's (Constantine I) reign witnessed increased activity by Vikings, based in Ireland, Northumbria and northern Britain. He died fighting one such invasion. Constantine I of Alba : Constantine I was a son of Kenneth MacAlpin and was king Gales and some Pictish tribes "Rex Pictorium" from either 862/863 to 877 when he died in Fife, during a battle against Norse invaders. He was the nephew of his predecessor Donald I and the son of Kenneth MacAlpin I of the Picts and Queen Cinaeth MacDonald. He was styled as king of the Picts but now is traditionally referred to as king of Scots as many consider Kenneth I to be the first king of Scots. Via Wikipedia Constantine 1 died in 877 in a battle against the Norse; King of Scots from 862 until his death. Upon his death the rule passed to his brother Aedh, then to a nephew Eocha until Donald 11 reached the age and suceeded. From BritRoyals : Name: King Constantine I of Alba Father: King Kenneth I Mother: unknown Relation to Elizabeth II: 32nd great-grandfather House of: MacAlpin Ascended to the throne: 863 Married: unknown Children: Donald II Died: 877, in battle against the Danes at Inverdorat, Angus Buried at: Isle of Iona Succeeded by: his brother Aedh Constantine (Constantín mac Cináeda) son of Kenneth MacAlpin and brother of Aedh, he became king on the death of his uncle Donald. For much of his reign he was faced with repeated attacks from Vikings including the forces of Olaf the White based in Dublin who reportedly took many Albans and Britons as slaves. Olaf besieged and sacked Dumbarton. The Strathclyde king Artgal survived, but was assassinated the following year with the connivance of Constantine. In 875 Constantine was killed fighting the Vikings at Inverdovat, near Newport-on-Tay, Angus. He was buried on Iona and succeeded by his brother Aedh.

Cairbre Lifeachar, 2. Muireadach, 3. Moghruith, 4. Ceallach, 5. Daire, 6. Aongus Fionn: Nos. 4 and 5 left no issue. King Cormac Mac Art was the 115th Monarch of Ireland; and was called "Ulfhada," because of his long beard. He was the wisest, most learned, and best of any of the Milesian race before him, that ruled the Kingdom. He ordained several good laws; wrote several learned treatises, among which his treatise on "Kingly Government," directed to his son Carbry Liffechar, is extant and extraordinary. He was very magnificent in his housekeeping and attendants, having always one thousand one hundred and fifty persons in his daily retinue constantly attending at his Great Hall at Tara; which was three hundred feet long, thirty cubits high, and fifty cubits broad, with fourteen doors to it. His daily service of plate, flagons, drinking cups of gold, silver., and precious stone, at his table, ordinarily consisted of one hundred and fifty pieces, besides dishes, etc., which were all pure silver or gold. He ordained that ten choice persons should constantly attend him and his successors - Monarchs of Ireland, and never to be absent from him, viz. - 1. A nobleman to be his companion; 2. A judge to deliver and explain the laws of the country in the King's presence upon all occasions; 3. An antiquary or historiographer to declare and preserve the genealogies, acts, and occurrences of the nobility and gentry from time to time as occasion required; 4. A Druid or Magician to offer sacrifice, and presage good or bad omens, as his learning, skill, or knowledge would enable him; 5. A poet to praise or dispraise every one according to his good or bad actions; 6. A physician to administer physic to the king and queen, and to the rest of the (royal) family; 7. A musician to compose music, and sing pleasant sonnets in the King's presence when there-unto disposed; and 8, 9, and 10, three Stewards to govern the King's House in all things appertaining thereunto. This custom was observed by all the succeeding Monarchs down to Brian Boromha [Boru], the 175th Monarch of Ireland, and the 60th down from Cormac, without any alteration only that since they received the Christian Faith they changed the Druid or Magician for a Prelate of the Church. What is besides delivered from antiquity of this great Monarch is, that (which among the truly wise is more valuable than any worldly magnificence or secular glory whatsoever) he was to all mankind very just, and so upright in his actions, judgments, and laws, that God revealed unto him the light of His Faith seven years before his death; and from thenceforward he refused his Druids to worship their idol-gods, and openly professed he would no more worship any but the true God of the Universe, the Immortal and Invisible King of Ages. Whereupon the Druids sought his destruction, which they soon after effected (God permitting it) by their adjurations and ministry of damned spirits choking him as he sat at dinner eating of salmon, some say by a bone of the fish sticking in his throat, A.D. 266, after he had reigned forty years. Of the six sons of Cormac Mac Art, no issue is recorded from any [of them], but from Cairbre-Lifeachar; he had also ten daughters, but there is no account of any of them only two - namely, Grace (or Grania), and Ailbh [alve], who were both successively the wives of the great champion and general of the Irish Militia, Fionn, the son of Cubhall [Coole]. The mother of Cormac MacArt was Eachtach, the dau. of Ulcheatagh. Cormac was married to Eithne Ollamhdha, dau. of Dunlang, son of Eana Niadh; she was fostered by Buiciodh Brughach, in Leinster.

- Title Of Nobility: King " Saint " of SILURIA ap Caradoc
- LifeSketch: Cyllin was a legendary, and possibly historical British king of the 1st century AD, early Christian saint and the last pendragon of Great Britain. His existence is based on very limited evidence. Richard Williams Morgan claimed that a reference to him as a son of Caratacus was found in the family records of Iestyn ab Gwrgant and used this as evidence of early entry of Christianity to Britain; Cyllin ab Caradog, a wise and just king. In his days many of the Cymry embraced the faith in Christ through the teaching of the saints of Cor-Eurgain, and many godly men from the countries of Greece and Rome were in Cambria. He first of the Cymry gave infants names; for before, names were not given except to adults, and then from something characteristic in their bodies, minds, or manners. Reference to Cyllin is also given in Iolo Morganwg's "Third series" of forged Welsh Triads. He is also discussed in the works of Rice Rees, Jane Williams, Sabine Baring-Gould and John Williams (Ab Ithel) as brother of Saint Eigen and father of King Coel. He is also noted in a manuscript giving the genealogy of Taliesin from the collection of Thomas Hopkin of Coychurch along with one from the Havod Uchtryd collection where he is called Cynan, a name often associated with Conan Meriadoc. «b»Biography«/b» Saint Cyllin was a legendary, and possibly historical British king of the 1st century AD, early Christian saint and the last pendragon of Great Britain. His existence is based on very limited evidence. «b»Outline of Cyllin's Legend Name and Time«/b» "Cyllin was the son of Caradawg ap Bran, a saint who flourished at the close of the first century. No church in Wales Bears his name." Cyllinus was one of two brothers of Claudia, daughter of Caradoc, the son of Bran. Cyllinus was the eldest son of Caradoc ap Bran. «b»Family Connections«/b» Medieval Welsh sources created elaborate and largely fictitious genealogies that incorporated various historical figures. The father of the figure represented in this profile, Caractacus, was authentically known from Roman sources, but the present representation is highly fictionalized. The dates are, of course, speculations that are not given in the primary sources. Bran the Blessed. According to these forgeries, Bran the Blessed was the son of Llyr Llediaith, the first of the race of the Cymry who was converted to the faith in Christ ; and his family is the most ancient of the Holy Families of the Island of Britain, and his church is in Llandaff. Arwystli Hen, a man from Italy; he came with Bran, the son of Llyr, to the Island of Britain to teach the Christian faith. Saint Ilid, a man of Israel, who came with Bran, the son of Llyr, from Rome to teach the Christian faith to the race of the Cymry. Eigen, the daughter of Caradoc, the son of Bran, the son of Llyr Llediaith, wife of Sallwg, lord of Garth Mathrin. Saint Lleurwg, called Lleuver Mawr [the great luminary], the son of Coel, the son of Cyllin, the son of Caradoc, the son of Bran, the son of Llyr Llediaith, sent to Pope Eleutherius to request bishops to confer baptism on those of the race of the Cymry who should believe in Christ. Saint Gwerydd, the son of Cadwn, the son of Cenau, the son of Eudav, of the family of Bran the Blessed, the son of Llyr Llediaith. His church is Llanwerydd, the same as Saint Dunawd. Saint Gwynno, of the family of Bran the Blessed. «b»Cyllin's father and grandfather:«/b» Caradoc ap Bran. Reigned in Cambria after his father. "His residence was the site of the present Dunraven Castle, in the centre of his dominions Siluria. Whgen taken prisoner to Rome he was preserved from the criminal's fate by the admiration which he excited; he was permitted to reside seven years in free custody in Rome, his aged father Bran, and the whole Royal Family being retained as hostages. HIs residence was the palace on the declivity of the Mons Sacra, converted by his grand-daughter Pudentiana into the first christian church in Rome, now known as "Saint Pudentiana." «b»Cyllin's Mother«/b» Other legends give Cyllin's mother as Anna Arimathea, daughter of Joseph of Arimathea. Anna was married to Caradog ap Bran, said to be born in the year 35, in Glamorganshire, England. «b»Cyllin's Siblings:«/b» 1.) Claudia (Gladys) Claudia (Gladys) married Rufus Pudens, a Roman Patrician, who filled high civil and military positions in Britain. He was converted to Christianity by his wife. Rufus is named in the epistle of St. Paul to the Romans. (Romans 16:13) Rufus in turn baptized Bran, Caractacus, and the other members of the Silurian Royal Family. 2.) Eigen 3.) Cyllinus 4.) Linus, was ordained by Saint Paul as the first Bishop of Rome «b»Cyllin's Children:«/b» 1.) Cyllinus was the father of Coel, who flourished in the year 120. «b»Travels 59 and 60«/b» In 59, Aristobulus, brother to Barnabas, and father-in-law to S. Peter, was ordained by S. Paul, first Bishop of the Britons, and left Rome with Bran, Caractacus, and the Royal Family; Bran, on account of this second phase in the introduction of christianity into Britain, is known as one of the benefactorsw of the island, and the epithet of the Blessed given him. In 60, S. Paul visited Caradoc, and returned to the continent, after some months, with Claudia, Pudens, and Linus. "In 67, on the evening preceding his execution, he (S. Paul) wrote his farewell epistle to Timothy; the only salutations are from the British family, Pudens, Linus, Eubulus, and Claudia, who thus, through God's grace, ministered to the sorrows of the founder of the Gentile church." «b»Birth Year Estimation«/b» Basing the calculation on the impression that Cyllin would have been a member of the "Royal Family" in 59, assume Cyllin's reputed birth prior to that; if he was born in the year 50 he would have been aged 9, a suitable age for the trip and for remaining behind in Britain in the year 60. Some legendary sources place Cyllin's birth in Trevan, Llanilid, Glamorganshire; based on the legendary narrative, it would be either in Siluria or Rome. «b»Death«/b» Cyllinus died in Britain. «b»1801 Iolo Morganwg Fraud«/b» Reference to Saint Cyllin is also given in Iolo Morganwg's "Third series" of forged Welsh Triads. «b»1836 Other References«/b» Cyllin is also discussed in the works of Rice Rees, Jane Williams, Sabine Baring-Gould and John Williams (Ab Ithel) as brother of Saint Eigen and father of King Coel. «b»1849 Mabinogion«/b» Cyllin is also noted in a manuscript giving the genealogy of Taliesin from the collection of Thomas Hopkin of Coychurch along with one from the Havod Uchtryd collection where he is called Cynan, a name often associated with Conan Meriadoc. «b»1861 Richard Williams Morgan«/b» Richard Williams Morgan claimed that a reference to him as a son of Caratacus was found in the family records of Iestyn ab Gwrgant and used this as evidence of early entry of Christianity to Britain; "Cyllin ab Caradog, a wise and just king. In his days many of the Cymry embraced the faith in Christ through the teaching of the saints of Cor-Eurgain, and many godly men from the countries of Greece and Rome were in Cambria. He first of the Cymry gave infants names; for before, names were not given except to adults, and then from something characteristic in their bodies, minds, or manners."

BECAME COURT MUSICIAN age 25 to 32. (BC 1085-1015) DAVID DOWN: SAUL becomes KING 1043 BC DAVID becomes KING 1003 BC SOLOMON becomes KING 0970 BC SAUL was KING for THIRTY-TWO YEARS and DAVID was KING for FOURTY YEARS. David (c. 1035BC-970BC) was the second king of the ancient United Kingdom of Israel who helped establish the eternal throne of God. An ancient leader, David was know for his passion of God, hos moving, emotional Psalms, his inspiring bravery and experience in war. He is also noted for his handsome appearance, his illicit relationship with Bathsheba, and his direct connection to Jesus of Nazareth in the New Testament. Born around 1000 B.C., David was the eighth child of Jesse, of the tribe of Judah. David reigned for 40 years, the same amount as did King Saul and his son, King Solomon. David was king during on of the most prosperous times in the entire Israelite history, called by many as Israel's "Golden Age". Although he is often presented as wicked and sinful like the kings of Israel that preceded and followed him, in Judaism and Christianity, King David is spoken of in various books of the Bible (where most of the information about him is currently) as a kingly model of righteousness, repentance, and also submission to God's will. As well as the precursor to the Messiah: the "Annointed" Jew and champion of his people. _____________________________________________________ David ben Jesse, Shepherd later to become 2nd King of Israel JACOB 1892 BC - 1745 BC L:147 JUDAH 1804 BC - PEREZ BEF 1774 BC - 16?? Born in Bethlehem, the youngest of eight sons of Jesse, tribe of Judah, and grandson of Boaz and Ruth. According to legend, while serving his family duties, he became known as a talented psalmist and musician. As such, he was taken to court to play for the king, becoming a court favorite, and was made King Saul's armor bearer. During the Israelite's conflict with the neighboring Philistines, David was said to have met and defeated their greatest warrior in single combat. His fame, popularity, and friendship with the Israelite prince, Jonathan, all lent toward King Saul's eventual obsessive hatred of his former favorite. David married the king's younger daughter, and survived several murder attempts, before being forced to flee. After years in exile, the king and his son were killed in the Battle of Mount Gelboe, leaving David the anointed heir. Accepted as king by Judea, the southern kingdoms fell in behind another son of Saul, Isboseth, inciting a civil war. It was only with Isboseth's death almost a decade later did David become ruler of a united kingdom. He was credited with creating in Israel an independent successful state, extending Israel's lands in the north, defeating the Philistines, giving Israel a capital, a court, a great center of religion, having several notable affairs and marriages, and having two famous sons among many, Absalom and Solomon. After a rule of some thirty-three years, David died in his capitol at Jerusalem. Tradition has it that he was buried on Mount Sion (Zion), just outside the walls, though others argue that he was actually buried within the City of David. He was succeeded by his son Solomon. - Occupation: Roi des King of Sicamber, Aided Saxons against the Goths, Died 300 bc, King of Sicabri, king of Sicambri, Roy des Sicambres, King of the Sicambrii, King of Sicambri
- LifeSketch: Diocles, King of the Sicambri Aided Saxons against the Goths and although little is known about the life of Diocles, it is known that he was a contemporary of Apollonius and that he flourished sometime around the end of the 3rd century BC and the beginning of the 2nd century BC. Diocles is thought to be the first person to prove the focal property of the parabola. His name is associated with the geometric curve called the Cissoid of Diocles, which was used by Diocles to solve the problem of doubling the cube. The curve was alluded to by Proclus in his commentary on Euclid and attributed to Diocles by Geminus as early as the beginning of the 1st century. Fragments of a work by Diocles entitled On burning mirrors were preserved by Eutocius in his commentary of Archimedes' On the Sphere and the Cylinder. Historically, On burning mirrors had a large influence on Arabic mathematicians, particularly on al-Haytham, the 11th-century polymath of Cairo whom Europeans knew as "Alhazen". The treatise contains sixteen propositions that are proved by conic sections. One of the fragments contains propositions seven and eight, which is a solution to the problem of dividing a sphere by a plane so that the resulting two volumes are in a given ratio. Proposition ten gives a solution to the problem of doubling the cube. This is equivalent to solving a certain cubic equation. Another fragment contains propositions eleven and twelve, which use the cissoid to solve the problem of finding two mean proportionals in between two magnitudes. Since this treatise covers more topics than just burning mirrors, it may be the case that On burning mirrors is the aggregate of three shorter works by Diocles.

He succeeded as the King Eadric of Kent in 685. The charter of 679 infers that, at that date, the relationship between Eadric and his uncle were not unfriendly, however in about 685 Eadric revolted against his uncle. With help from Æthelwealh of Sussex he raised a South Saxon army and defeated Hlothhere in battle. Hlothhere died of his wounds shortly after and Eadric became sole ruler of Kent. Eadric was a nephew of Wulfhere of Mercia. Wulfhere was in an alliance with the South Saxons, so it would have served the politics of the time for Æthelwealh to support Eadric's coup against Hlothhere. Also, in 685 a West Saxon warband invaded Sussex under the command of the Wessex prince Cædwalla and killed Æthelwealh. Cædwalla was subsequently driven out of Sussex by two of Æthelwealh's ealdormen, Berhthun and Andhun. William of Malmesbury suggests that Eadric became king of the South Saxon kingdom at that time. Then in 686, Cædwalla, now king of Wesssex, and his brother Mul, removed Eadric from power and made Mul king of Kent. Cædwalla's hatred and hostility towards the South Saxons were inextinguishable, and he totally destroyed Edric [Eadric] the successor of Ethelwalch [Æthelwealh] who opposed him with renovated boldness:....he also gained repeated victories over the people of Kent.. — William of Malmesbury 1847, pp. 30-31 There is a discussion on the actual date of Eadric's death. Bede lists his death, but does not provide a precise date, however one of the Kent annals, suggest that he was buried on 31 August 686 and another 31 August 687. ___________________________________________________ NOTE: Eadric and Wihtred were brothers, they are not the same person! Foundation for Medieval Genealogy EADRIC ([668]-31 Aug 687). Bede names "Edric filius Ecgberti" when recording his rebellion against his uncle King Hlothhere[359]. He consented to a grant of land in Thanet by his uncle King Hlothhere to Abbot Brihtwold in 679[360]. If Eadric's estimated birth date is correct, he was little more than an adolescent at the time of his rebellion. However, it is unlikely that he was born much earlier than this in view of the estimated birth date of his paternal grandmother. Bede records that "Hlotheri Cantuariorum rex" was mortally wounded "in pugna Australium Saxonum" against "Edric filius Ecgberti", adding that the latter succeeded his king but died one year later[361]. He defeated his uncle, presumably with support from the South Saxons, and succeeded in 685 as EADRIC King of Kent. "Eadricus rex Cantuariorum" granted land at Stodmarsh, Kent to St Augustine by charter dated Jun 686[362]. Cædwalla King of Wessex invaded Kent in 686 and installed his brother Mul as King of Kent, although the latter was burned to death with twelve followers by the Kentishmen the following year[363]. The Annales Lindisfarnenses et Cantuarienses record the death "687 II Kal Sep" of "Edric Cantuariorum rex"[364].

- LifeSketch: ?this person died before son (Ealdwulf) was born? Ecgric (killed circa 636) was a king of East Anglia, the independent Anglo-Saxon kingdom that today includes the English counties of Norfolk and Suffolk. He was a member of the ruling Wuffingas dynasty, but his relationship with other known members of the dynasty is not known with any certainty. Anna of East Anglia may have been his brother, or his cousin. It has also been suggested that he was identical with Æthelric, who married Hereswith and was the father of Ealdwulf of East Anglia. The primary source for the little that is known about Ecgric's life is Bede's Historia ecclesiastica gentis Anglorum. In the years that followed the reign of Rædwald and the murder of Rædwald's son (and successor) Eorpwald in around 627, East Anglia lost its dominance over other Anglo-Saxon kingdoms. Three years after Eorpwald's murder at the hands of a pagan, Ecgric's kinsman Sigeberht returned from exile and they ruled the East Anglians together, with Ecgric perhaps ruling the northern part of the kingdom. Sigeberht succeeded in re-establishing Christianity throughout East Anglia, but Ecgric may have remained a pagan, as Bede praises only Sigeberht for his accomplishments, and his lack of praise for his co-ruler is significant. Ecgric ruled alone after Sigeberht retired to his monastery at Beodricesworth in around 634: it has also been suggested that he was a sub-king who only became king after Sigeberht's abdication. Both Ecgric and Sigeberht were killed in battle in around 636, at an unknown location, when the East Anglians were forced to defend themselves from a Mercian military assault led by their king, Penda. Ecgric, whose grave may have been the ship burial under Mound 1 at Sutton Hoo, was succeeded by Anna. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ecgric_of_East_Anglia

- Also known as: Eni Tyttlason
- LifeSketch: 'Eni Tytling' (4th line), as recorded in the Textus Roffensis Ennius or Eni was a member of the Wuffing family, the ruling dynasty of the Kingdom of East Anglia. He was the son of Tyttla and brother of Raedwald, both kings of East Anglia. A map of the Anglo-Saxon kingdoms There is no historical evidence that Eni ever ruled the East Angles himself. The principal references to him are in Bede's Ecclesiastical History and in the East Anglian dynastic tally preserved in the Anglian collection. The tally is not a regnal list but a series of genealogical affiliations, (hence it does not mention Raedwald, who was not a direct ancestor of the line of Eni). It is possible, but nowhere indicated, that Raedwald associated Eni to his power as an East Anglian regent or sub-king during the period of his own ascendancy, 616-624.[according to whom?] The sources we have indicate that Eorpwald, Raedwald's son, succeeded his father. Eni is identified by Bede as the father of three East Anglian kings, namely Anna (r. c636-654), Aethelhere (r. 654) and Aethelwold (r. 654-664). In the Anglian collection he is also the grandfather of King Ealdwulf (r. 664-713), whose father was Æthelric. Since royal power reverted to Ealdwulf in 664 after the rule of his uncles, it is often supposed that Æthelric was actually the elder brother of Anna, Æthelhere and Æthelwold and may be the same person as Egric of East Anglia, who shared the throne with Sigeberht (c. 629-634) and died with him in 636. Hereswitha, Ealdwulf's mother, had already left East Anglia for a monastic life in Gaul by 647 (Bede, History, iv.23)and so Æthelric was probably dead by then. Many of Eni's descendants appear to have been devout Christians and as an immediate member of Raedwald's household he must certainly have been aware of, and possibly even shared in, Raedwald's baptism, which occurred in Kent under the sponsorship of King Æthelberht before 616, at the hands of the mission sent by Pope Gregory I. Eni's son Anna was presumably resident at Exning in 631 when Anna's daughter Æthelthryth (Saint Audrey) was born there. Exning is close to the Isle of Ely where, at Cratendune, Saint Augustine of Canterbury himself (d. c604) is stated (in Liber Eliensis) to have established a church. It is possible, therefore, that the Christianity of Eni's descendants had its origins in an East Anglian phase of Augustine's own mission. Found https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Eni_of_East_Anglia

- LifeSketch: Fedlimid Rechtmar [ ˈfɛðlʲimʲiðʲ ˈrɛxtwər ] ("the lawful, legitimate" or "the passionate, furious") or Rechtaid ("the judge, lawgiver"), son of Tuathal Techtmar, was, according to medieval Irish legend and historical tradition, a High King of Ireland. His mother was Báine, daughter of Scál. He took power after killing his predecessor, and his father's killer, Mal mac Rochride. The chronology of Geoffrey Keating's Foras Feasa ar Éirinn dates his reign to 104–113, that of the Annals of the Four Masters to 110–119. The Lebor Gabála Érenn synchronises his reign with that of the Roman emperor Marcus Aurelius (161–180). He ruled for nine or ten years before dying in his bed, and was succeeded by Cathair Mór. One of his sons, Conn Cétchathach, would succeed Cathair. Two other sons, Fiacha Suighe, ancestor of the Dal Fiachrach Suighe, and Eochaid Finn, are named in medieval sources. He is said to have instituted the principle of an eye for an eye into Irish law, after which the behaviour of the Irish improved. The completion of the road construction around Tara is attributed to him. Children: . Conn Cétchathach . Eochaid Finn . Fiachra Suighe

- Title Of Nobility: 104th High King of Ireland
- LifeSketch: Fiacha Finnolach, son of Feradach Finnfechtnach, was, according to medieval Irish legend and historical tradition, a High King of Ireland. He took power after killing his predecessor, Fíatach Finn. He ruled for fifteen, seventeen, or twenty-seven years, depending on the source consulted, after which he, and the freemen of Ireland, were killed in an uprising of aithech-tuatha or "subject peoples", led, according to the Lebor Gabála Érenn and the Annals of the Four Masters, by Elim mac Conrach, or by Cairbre Cinnchait according to Geoffrey Keating. His wife Eithne, daughter of the king of Alba (Scotland), who was pregnant, fled home to Alba, where she gave birth to Fíachu's son, Tuathal Techtmar, who would ultimately return to Ireland to claim the throne. The Lebor Gabála Érenn synchronises his reign with that of the Roman emperor Nerva (AD 96–98). The chronology of Geoffrey Keating's Foras Feasa ar Éirinn dates his reign to AD 28–55, that of the Annals of the Four Masters to AD 39–56

- Father: Cenred OF WESSEX
- Mother: Unknown Spouse of CENRED
- Birth: ABT 670, Wessex
- Also known as: Ina of Wessex
- Also known as: Ine King of Wessex
- LifeSketch: Ine of Wessex, also Ini or Ina, was King of Wessex from 689 to 726. Ine was the son of Cenred, born about 670 and had 3 siblings: brother Ingild and sisters Cuthburh and Cwenburg. The name of Ine's mother is not known. At Ine's accession, his kingdom dominated much of southern England. However, he was unable to retain the territorial gains of his predecessor, Cædwalla, who had expanded West Saxon territory substantially. By the end of Ine's reign, the kingdoms of Kent, Sussex, and Essex were no longer under West Saxon sway; however, Ine maintained control of what is now Hampshire, and consolidated and extended Wessex's territory in the western peninsula. Ine is noted for his code of laws (leges Inae or "laws of Ine"), which he issued in about 694. These laws were the first issued by an Anglo-Saxon king outside Kent. They shed much light on the history of Anglo-Saxon society, and reveal Ine's Christian convictions. Trade increased significantly during Ine's reign, with the town of Hamwic (now Southampton) becoming prominent. It was probably during Ine's reign that the West Saxons began to mint coins, though none have been found that bear his name. It is not known exactly when they married but Ine married Æthelburg of Wessex sometime before 722. For the Anglo-Saxon Chronicle tells us that in 722, Æthelburg burned down the city of Taunton, a city built by Ine. Æthelburg's exact motivations for burning down the city are not clear, but she was either trying to find the rebel Ealdbert or she was trying to prevent Taunton from being taken by the rebels. There are no records of Ine and Æthelburg having any children and in 726 when Ine abdicated the throne, he left no clear heir. Ine abdicated the throne of Wessex in 726 in order to travel, with his wife Æthelburg, to Rome; his predecessor, Cædwalla, had also abdicated to go to Rome and was baptized there by the pope. A pilgrimage to Rome was thought to aid one's chance of a welcome in heaven, and according to Bede, many people went to Rome at this time for this reason: "... both noble and simple, layfolk and clergy, men and women alike." With no obvious heir, according to Bede, Ine left his kingdom to "younger men". He was succeeded by Æthelheard. Ine is believed to have founded the Schola Saxonum in the Borgo district of Rome about 727. The Schola Saxonum took its name from the militias of Saxons who served in Rome, but it eventually developed into a hostelry for English visitors to the city. Ine and Æthelburg both died whole in Rome, about 728. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ine_of_Wessex
