- LifeSketch: 32. There were three who always walked with the Lord: Mary, His mother; His sister; and Mary Magdalene, who was called His companion. So, there were three Maries: His mother, His sister, and His companion. http://gnosis.org/naghamm/gop.html Malachi 2:14 Yet ye say, Wherefore? Because the Lord hath been witness between thee and the wife of thy youth, against whom thou hast dealt treacherously: yet is she thy companion, and the wife of thy covenant. (companion is synonymous with wife) Also from Phillip: " And the companion of the [...] Mary Magdalene. [...] loved her more than all the disciples, and used to kiss her often on her mouth. The rest of the disciples [...]. They said to him "Why do you love her more than all of us?" The Savior answered and said to them,"Why do I not love you like her?" The residence entries prove Jesus lived in a home in Capernaum. He may have been married there, or maybe Magdala, a town about 5 miles distance round the northwest coast of the Sea of Galilee from Capernaum, where his spouse may have been from. 1 Cor 11:11 Nevertheless neither is the man without the woman, neither the woman without the man, in the Lord. One needs a spouse to be "in the Lord". 1 Cor 9:5 5 Have we not power to lead about a sister, a wife, as well as other apostles, and as the brethren of the Lord, and Cephas? The above mentions his Apostles and brothers having wives. Do you think he was the lone single guy? 20AD is generously late for a marriage. In Jewish tradition, he'd probably already being shamed for waiting so long. Mary’s going to the tomb would have been a wifely responsibility. And her reaction to the Savior’s appearance, calling out “Master” is telling. In that day, Master was a term used by wives for their husbands. Jews would be surprised if Jesus were not married. Starr, Bernard; Professor, ContributorCollege; psychologist; journalist. (2012-09-21). "Jesus Married? Not Surprising For A Dedicated Jew". HuffPost. Retrieved 2020-07-20. Isaiah 53:10 ¶ Yet it pleased the Lord to bruise him; he hath put him to grief: when thou shalt make his soul an offering for sin, he shall see his SEED, he shall prolong his days, and the pleasure of the Lord shall prosper in his hand.

Killed in battle by the Gauls https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sicambri The Sicambri, also known as the Sugambri or Sicambrians, were a Celtic people or Germanic people who during Roman times lived on the east bank of the Rhine river, in what is now Germany, near the border with the Netherlands. They were first reported by Julius Caesar, who described them as Germanic (Germani), though he did not necessarily define this in terms of language. Whether or not the Sicambri spoke a Germanic or Celtic language, or something else, is not certain, because they lived in the so-called Nordwestblock zone where these two language families came into contact and were both influential. By the 3rd century the region, in which they and their neighbours had lived, had become part of the territory of the Franks, which was a new name that possibly represented a new alliance of older tribes, possibly including the Sicambri. Many Sicambri had however been moved into the Roman empire by this time. - LifeSketch: Wikipedi Clodia Born c. 95 or 94 BC Rome Died Rome Spouse(s) Quintus Caecilius Metellus Celer Clodia (born Claudia, c. 95 or 94 BC),[1] nicknamed Quadrantaria, and occasionally referred to in scholarship as Clodia Metelli[2][3][4] ("Metellus's Clodia"),[i] was one of three known daughters of the ancient Roman patrician Appius Claudius Pulcher. Like many other women of the Roman elite, Clodia was very well educated in Greek and Philosophy, with a special talent for writing poetry.[2] Her life, which was characterized by perpetual scandal, is immortalized in the writings of Marcus Tullius Cicero and, it is generally believed, in the poems of Gaius Valerius Catullus.[5] Biography Early life She was a daughter of Appius Claudius Pulcher. She had three brothers: Appius Claudius Pulcher (consul in 54 BC), Gaius Claudius Pulcher (praetor in 56 BC), and Publius Clodius Pulcher (tribune of the plebs in 58 BC); and four sisters, the younger two of whom were married to Quintus Marcius Rex and Lucullus respectively. It is not certain whether Clodia was the eldest or a middle daughter, it is only known that she was not the youngest sister. Along with her brother Clodius, she changed her patrician name from Claudia to Clodia, with a plebeian connotation. Her mother is unknown. Many historians believe she was a Caecilia Metella, possibly Caecilia Metella Balearica, or her cousin, Caecilia Metella daughter of Lucius Caecilius Metellus Diadematus.[6] Another theory is that she was a Servilia Caepione.[7] Marriage Clodia was married to Quintus Caecilius Metellus Celer, her first cousin, with whom she had a daughter Caecilia Metella. The marriage was not happy. Clodia had several affairs with married men (possibly including the poet Catullus) and slaves. Arguments with Metellus Celer were constant, often in public. When he died in strange circumstances in 59 BC, Clodia was suspected of poisoning her husband.[8] Controversies As a widow, Clodia became known for taking several other lovers, including Marcus Caelius Rufus, Catullus's friend. This particular affair caused an immense scandal. After the relationship with Caelius was over in 56 BC, Clodia publicly accused him of attempted poisoning. The accusation led to a murder charge and trial. Caelius' defense advocate was Cicero, who took a harsh approach against her, recorded in his speech Pro Caelio. Cicero had a personal interest in the case, as Clodia's brother Clodius was Cicero's most bitter political enemy. Cicero accused Clodia of being a seducer and a drunkard in Rome and in Baiae, and alluded to the persistent rumors of an incestuous relationship with Clodius. Cicero stated that he "would [attack Caelius' accusers] still more vigorously, if I had not a quarrel with that woman's [Clodia's] husband—brother, I meant to say; I am always making this mistake. At present I will proceed with moderation ... for I have never thought it my duty to engage in quarrels with any woman, especially with one whom all men have always considered everybody's friend rather than anyone's enemy."[9] He declared her a disgrace to her family and nicknamed Clodia the Medea of the Palatine.[10] Caelius was found not guilty. Plutarch claims that Cicero's own marriage to Terentia suffered from Terentia's persistent suspicions that Cicero was conducting an illicit affair with Clodia.[11] Death After the trial no definite reference is heard of Clodia, and the date of her death is unknown. Cicero refers to a Clodia in 44 BC,[12] but the lack of female personal names (praenomina) in Latin makes it difficult to specify whether this refers to the infamous Clodia or a sister. Identification with Lesbia Lesbia and her Sparrow by Sir Edward John Poynter The poet Catullus wrote several love poems about a frequently unfaithful woman he called Lesbia, identified in the mid-second century AD by the writer Apuleius (Apologia 10) as a "Clodia". This practice of replacing actual names with ones of identical metrical value was frequent in Latin poetry of that era. In modern times, the resulting identification of Lesbia with Clodia Metelli, based largely on her portrayal by Cicero, is usually treated as accepted fact, despite occasional challenges.[13] The predominant view, however, identifies Clodia with Lesbia primarily on the basis of Catullus 79.1-2:[14] Lesbius is beautiful. Why not? And Lesbia prefers him to you and your whole tribe, Catullus. But let this beautiful man sell Catullus along with his tribe if he finds three kisses from people he knows. "Pulcher", the Latin word for "beautiful" (see line 1 above), is also the cognomen of Clodia's brother, Publius Clodius Pulcher. This is the only one of Catullus' poems in which a character named "Lesbius", the masculine form of the name, appears and Lesbia is present in close proximity. Accusations of incest (as here) against the brother and sister also appear in Cicero.[15] Reading Publius Clodius Pulcher for "Lesbius" makes one element of the poem a pun on his name and another a reminder of one of the political attacks Cicero aimed at P. Clodius Pulcher.

This son-in-law was a distinguished Roman in his own right. He became consul (abdicating or resigning in 162 BC for religious reasons, then being re-elected in 155 BC), censor in 159 BC, Princeps Senatus, and died as Pontifex Maximus in 141 BC. Scipio Nasica rose to many of the dignities enjoyed by his late father-in-law, and was noted for his staunch (if ultimately futile) opposition to Cato the Censor over the fate of Carthage from about 157 to 149 BC. - Father: Gaius Octavius of ROME
- Mother: Scribonia AUGUSTUS LIBO
- Birth: 38 BC, Roma, Roman Republic
- Also known as: Julia "the Elder"
- Octavian's friends Gaius Maecenas and Marcus Vipsanius Agrippa concluded an: agreement with Octavian's great rival Mark Antony. It was sealed with an engagement: Antony's ten-year-old son Marcus Antonius Antyllus was to marry Julia, then two years old.
- Civil war broke out at the Battle of Actium and Octavian and Agrippa defeated Antony and: Cleopatra. They both committed suicide in Alexandria, and Octavian became sole ruler of the Roman Empire. Julia's marriage to Marcus Antonius Antyllus thus never took place.
- Julia married her first cousin Marcus Claudius Marcellus, the son of her father's sister: Octavia, who was some three years older than her. Augustus himself was not present for the wedding as he was fighting a war in Spain and had fallen ill. Instead, he commissioned Agrippa to preside over the ceremony and hold the festival in his absence.
- House: Julio-Claudian Dynasty: (Date and Place unknown)
- LifeSketch: Julia Caesaris filia or Julia Augusti filia was the daughter of Augustus Caesar, the first Roman Emperor, and his second wife, Scribonia. Julia also was stepsister and second wife of the Emperor Tiberius; maternal grandmother of the Emperor Caligula and the Empress Agrippina the Younger; grandmother-in-law of the Emperor Claudius; and maternal great-grandmother of the Emperor Nero. At the time of Julia's birth, Augustus had not yet received the title "Augustus" and was known as "Gaius Julius Caesar Divi Filius," though historians refer to him as "Octavian" until 27 BC, when Julia was 11. Octavian divorced Julia's mother the day of her birth and took Julia from her soon thereafter. Octavian, in accordance with Roman custom, claimed complete parental control over her. She was sent to live with her stepmother Livia when she was old enough and learn how to be an aristocrat. Her education appears to have been strict and somewhat old-fashioned. Thus, in addition to her studies, Suetonius informs us, she was taught spinning and weaving. Macrobius mentions "her love of literature and considerable culture, a thing easy to come by in that household." Julia's social life was severely controlled, and she was allowed to talk only to people whom her father had vetted. However, Octavian had a great affection for his daughter and made sure she had the best teachers available. Macrobius preserves a remark of Augustus: "There are two wayward daughters that I have to put up with: the Roman commonwealth and Julia." -- Wikiwand: Julia the Elder

- Birth: 103 BC, Rome
- Also known as: Servilia Major
- LifeSketch: Parent(s) Quintus Servilius Caepio and Livia Servilia (born c. 100 BC[1]–after 42 BC)[2] was a Roman matron from a distinguished family, the Servilii Caepiones. She was the daughter of Quintus Servilius Caepio and Livia, thus the half-sister of Cato the Younger. She married Marcus Junius Brutus, they had a son, the Brutus who would assassinate Caesar. After her first husband's death in 77, she married Decimus Junius Silanus,[3][1] and with him had a son and three daughters. She gained fame as the mistress of Julius Caesar,[4] whom her son Brutus and son-in-law Gaius Cassius Longinus, would assassinate in 44 BC. The relationship between Caesar and her seems to have been well known in Rome at the time.[4] Plutarch stated that she in turn was madly in love with him.[5] The relationship between the two probably started in 59, after the death of Servilia's second husband.[6] Early life Servilia was a patrician who could trace her line back to Gaius Servilius Ahala,[1] and was the eldest child[citation needed] of Livia and Quintus Servilius Caepio. Her parents had two other children, a younger Servilia and a Gnaeus Servilius Caepio; her father also likely had another son named Quintus Servilius Caepio from an earlier marriage.[7] They divorced when she was three or four,[8] and her mother then married Marcus Porcius Cato. From this union, Servilia's half-brother, Cato the Younger, and half-sister, Porcia, were born. However, her mother and stepfather both died before 91 BC. As a result, Servilia, her younger siblings, and her half-siblings were all brought up in the house of their maternal uncle, Marcus Livius Drusus. He was assassinated during his tribunate in 91 BC, in his own atrium, when Servilia was nine.[8] Her father was ambushed and killed in the immediately ensuing Social War, a war triggered by Drusus' assassination, mere months after her uncle's murder.[8] After the death of her mother and father, she was probably brought up by Drusus' biological brother Mamercus Aemilius Lepidus Livianus.[9] At adulthood, Servilia became legally independent and gained a considerable estate.[10][page needed][dubious – discuss] Servilia had great influence on her half-brother Cato the Younger.[11] He was considered to be tough and wild as a child, which frames Servilia as his equal in those respects.[10] As a young girl belonging to Roman ruling class, Servilia would have been well educated. She likely would have been taught to read, write, sing, dance, and play an instrument.[10] She would have read poetry, epics, and histories.[10] Marriages and children A denarius of Marcus Junius Brutus issued after the assassination of Julius Caesar, Servilia's son and lover, respectively. At the age of 13 or 14, she married Marcus Junius Brutus in the early 80s, who later was tribune of the plebs (83 BC) and founder of a colony at Capua. They had one child, the future tyrannicide Marcus Junius Brutus, born around 85 BC.[12] This was a profitable marriage for Brutus, who would gain fortune, stability, and political traction through Servilia.[10] Although the elder Brutus survived Sulla's proscriptions, he was treacherously killed by Pompey after surrendering at Mutina in 77 BC.[13][12][14] After the death of the elder Brutus, Servilia's bond with her son grew.[10] She also arranged for her son to be adopted into her family,[12] allowing for the name of the Servilii Caepiones to be preserved.[3] Servilia subsequently married Decimus Junius Silanus,[3] by whom she three daughters.[15] Her daughters were all married into prominent and politically active families,[16][page needed] Her first daughter married Publius Servilius Vatia Isauricus;[10][page needed] her second married Marcus Aemilius Lepidus (later triumvir);[10][page needed] and her third daughter married Gaius Cassius Longinus.[10][page needed] Servilia was well connected and facilitated these advantageous marriages herself.[10] It is speculated that either soon after she married Silanus, or after the births of her daughters, Servilia's notorious affair with Caesar began.[10] Silanus is not depicted to have been against the affair.[10][page needed] Servilia did not remarry after the death of Silanus around 59 BC,[17] and remained unmarried for the rest of her life.[10][page needed] She was able to live independently as a widow, owning various estates due to inheritances from various wealthy relatives.[18]

She was born in c. 14 BC the daughter of Marcus Vipsanius Agrippa, a close supporter of Rome's first emperor Augustus, and Augustus' daughter Julia the Elder. At the time of her birth, her brothers Lucius and Gaius were the adoptive sons of Augustus and were his heirs until their deaths in AD 2 and 4, respectively. She is known to have traveled with him throughout his career, taking her children everywhere they went. In AD 14, Germanicus was deployed in Gaul as governor and general. While there, the late Augustus sent her son Gaius to her unspecified location.[clarification needed] She liked to dress him in a little soldiers' outfit complete with boots for which Gaius earned the nickname "Caligula" ("little soldier's boots"). After three years in Gaul they returned to Rome and her husband was awarded a triumph on 26 May AD 17 to commemorate his victories. The following year, Germanicus was sent to govern over the eastern provinces. While Germanicus was active in his administration, the governor of Syria Gnaeus Calpurnius Piso began feuding with him. During the feud, her husband died of illness on 10 October AD 19. Germanicus was cremated in Antioch and she transported his ashes to Rome where they were interred at the Mausoleum of Augustus. Agrippina was vocal in claiming her husband was murdered to promote Tiberius' son Drusus Julius Caesar ("Drusus the Younger") as heir. Following the model of her stepgrandmother Livia, she spent the time following Germanicus' death supporting the cause of her sons Nero and Drusus Caesar. This put her and her sons at odds with the powerful Praetorian prefect Lucius Aelius Sejanus who would begin eliminating their supporters with accusations of treason and sexual misconduct in AD 26. Her family's rivalry with Sejanus would culminate with her and Nero's exile in AD 29. Nero was exiled to Pontia and she was exiled to the island of Pandateria, where she would remain until her death by starvation in AD 33.

- LifeSketch: Dobrynya (Russian: Добрыня, Ukrainian: Добриня) was Vladimir the Great's maternal uncle and tutor. He was the historical prototype of the invincible bogatyr (hero-knight) Dobrynya Nikitich in Kievan Rus folklore. Dobrynya's life and extent of his influence on Vladimir are shrouded in speculation and controversy. It is fairly certain that his sister Malusha was Vladimir's mother. It is also generally accepted that Dobrynya's posadnik dynasty in Novgorod was continued by his son Konstantin Dobrynich and grandson Ostromir.[1] According to the Novgorod chronicles, it was at his urging that Svyatoslav I sent his illegitimate son, Vladimir, to govern Novgorod, with Dobrynya as his tutor. Nine years later, Dobrynya persuaded Vladimir to wrest Kiev from his brother Yaropolk. On their way to Kiev, Yaropolk's bride, Rogneda of Polotsk, offended Dobrynya by calling his sister a "bondswoman". Dobrynya took his revenge by arranging Rogneda's rape by Vladimir. After Vladimir's enthronement in Kiev, Dobrynya returned to rule Novgorod in his name. He accompanied his nephew in the 985 expedition against Volga Bulgaria and, following his lead, erected an idol of Perun on the bank of the Volkhov River. After the Baptism of Kiev, he is said to have forced the Novgorodians into Christianity "by fire". Vasily Tatishchev wrote that Dobrynya, along with Bishop Ioakim Korsunianin, faced a violent, pagan mob which burned Dobrynya's house and killed his wife and several other family members Additional information: https://ru.wikipedia.org/wiki/Добрыня_(воевода)

- Birth: 45 BC, Roma, Roman Republic
- LifeSketch: Claudia Marcella Major[a] (PIR2 C 1102; born some time before 40 BC) was the senior niece of Roman emperor Augustus, being the eldest daughter of his sister Octavia the Younger and her first husband Gaius Claudius Marcellus. She became the second wife of Augustus foremost general Marcus Vipsanius Agrippa and after that the wife of Iullus Antonius, the son of Mark Antony. Biography Early life Marcella belonged to the generation whose childhood was marred by the violence of the civil wars of the Roman Republic.[3] She was likely the first child of her parents, being followed by her brother Marcus Claudius Marcellus and sister Claudia Marcella Minor. From her mother's second marriage to Mark Antony she would also gain two half sisters, Antonia the Elder and Antonia the Younger. Marriages Marcella's first known marriage was to Marcus Vipsanius Agrippa in 28 BC. She was his second wife.[3] Augustus held Agrippa in the highest place of honor.[5] Agrippa was a military man loyal to Octavian throughout the civil war.[3] The marriage of Marcella and Agrippa probably occurred because of the strong bond between the two men.[6] Marcella brought Agrippa a tie to an elite republican family and to Augustus himself, for she was Augustus's niece.[3] Although Agrippa was older than Marcella but austere, he appeared to be a good husband to Marcella.[3] Marcella and Agrippa had children,[7] however it is uncertain how many of them survived to adulthood. They appear to have had at least one daughter[3] sometimes retrospectively called Vipsania Marcella, in order to differentiate her from her half-sisters. They might also have had a second daughter who married a Lepidus. Some people such as John Pollini also believe that they had at least one son together, whom he identifies as a young boy next to Agrippa on the Ara Pacis.[8][9] In 23 BC the brother of Marcella, Marcus Claudius Marcellus, died and thus widowed Marcella's maternal cousin Julia the Elder.[5] In 21 BC, Agrippa divorced Marcella to marry Julia the daughter of Augustus.[5] After Marcella divorced Agrippa, Octavia Minor received Marcella back in her house.[5] Octavia Minor married Marcella to the future consul Iullus Antonius, the second son of Mark Antony from his third wife Fulvia who was held in high regard by Augustus.[5] Marcella bore Iullus Antonius at least one son named Lucius Antonius, they possibly also had another son who might have died young,[10] (he might have been named Iullus[11] like his father or another traditionally praenomen used by the Antoni gens like Gaius)[12] and a daughter named Iulla Antonia.[13] Lucius was sent to study in Marseilles (not an official exile) sometime after the disgrace of his father. In 2 BC, Iullus Antonius was forced to commit suicide after being found guilty of adultery with Julia the Elder. Prior to 1939, scholars believed that Marcella married a third husband after the death of Iullus Antonius, namely the Roman Senator and cousin Sextus Appuleius, the grandson of Octavia Major—the older half-sister of her mother— but it has in modern times been accepted that this was not the case.[14]

She was married to the politician Publius Quinctilius Varus[1] and was a daughter of Roman general Marcus Vipsanius Agrippa and his second wife Claudia Marcella Major (the niece of emperor Caesar Augustus).[2] History Early life Vipsania was likely born between 28 BC and 22 BC to Marcus Vipsanius Agrippa and his second wife Claudia Marcella Major, the eldest daughter of emperor Augustus sister Octavia Minor. This hypothesis is rebutted by Meyer Reinhold who considered that she was the daughter by Agrippa's first wife Pomponia Caecilia Attica.[3][4] She is thought to have had a younger full sister and two older half sisters (one who married Quintus Haterius and another named Vipsania Agrippina who married the future emperor Tiberius)[5] as well as five younger half-siblings named Gaius Caesar, Lucius Caesar, Agrippina the Elder, Vipsania Julia and Agrippa Postumus from her father third and last marriage to Julia the Elder. From her mother she also likely had several younger half siblings, among them Lucius Antonius and Iulla Antonia.[6] Marriage She likely married Varus around 14 BC.[7] She was his second wife.[8] Their marriage was considered the reason why Varus was selected to be consul in 13 BC with Tiberius.[9][10] She might have been the mother of Sextus Nonius Quinctilianus if he was indeed Varus' son[11] or another son who served with his father in 4 AD.[12][13] Their marriage did not last much longer than a decade from his consulship, since by then Varus was married to another woman.[14] Research Her existence was first discovered to modern historians upon the rediscovery of a papyrus recounting Augustus funeral oration for Agrippa which states that Varus and Tiberius were both sons-in-law to Agrippa.[15]

- LifeSketch: Wikipedia Publius Cornelius Lentulus Marcellinus (fl. 1st century BC – 1st century AD) was a Roman Senator who was elected Roman consul in 18 BC, with Gnaeus Cornelius Lentulus as his colleague.[1] During his consulship, the Senate and the Roman assembly again conferred upon the Roman emperor Augustus his extraordinary promagisterial authority and his Tribunician power. Biography Much about the ancestry and career of Publius Cornelius Lentulus Marcellinus is uncertain and is based on a great deal of supposition; what is certain is the praenomen of his father, Publius, which is attested in his filiation. It is postulated that our Marcellinus may have been the son of Publius Cornelius Lentulus Marcellinus, who may have been a Triumvir monetalis in 50 BC, but it is certain he was elected quaestor in 48 BC; Marcellinus the quaestor commanded a portion of Julius Caesar's defences at Dyrrachium which was attacked by Gnaeus Pompeius Magnus, and in the process Marcellinus sustained heavy losses.[2] There is also a Gnaeus Cornelius Lentulus Marcellinus, consul in 56 BC, who is considered the father of the quaestor, who could be the grandfather of our Marcellinus. There is a fragmentary list of the praetors of 29 BC, which includes a "Cornelius Lentulus Marc[...]", which has led some experts to identify this person with the consul of 18 BC.[3] Ronald Syme notes a number of implications if this identification is correct. One is a long interval elapsed between Marcellinus' praetorship and consulship, which is unusual, especially for a member of the patrician class,[4] which, as Syme observes, "is not inconceivable in the first decade of the new order. On the other hand, perhaps a different Marcellinus."[5] Even more important is Syme's observation, "In any event a praetor of 29 cannot be the son of a quaestor in 48."[5] It is possible that Marcellinus may be the Cornelius Lentulus appointed Legatus Augusti pro praetore in Pannonia in the first years of the 1st century AD.[6] However, Syme argues that Cornelius Lentulus the general is more likely identified as Gnaeus Cornelius Lentulus Augur, consul in AD 14.[7]

- LifeSketch: Almodis de la Marche (c. 1020 – 16 October 1071) was a French noble. She was famed for her marriage career, in particularly for her third marriage to Ramon Berenguer I, Count of Barcelona, with whom she committed double bigamy in 1053, for which the Pope had them excommunicated. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Almodis_de_la_Marche Almodis de la Marche (* 1020 , † October 16, 1071 [1] ) was the daughter of Bernhard I , Count of La Marche , and Amelia de Rasès . She married Hugo V von Lusignan around 1038 , with whom she had two sons and a daughter: . Hugo VI. by Lusignan (* around 1039; † 1102) . Jordan of Lusignan . Melisende von Lusignan ∞ before 1074 Simon I, Vice Count of Parthenay Hugo's marriage with Almodis was dissolved because they were too closely related by blood. Hugo arranged for his wife to remarry to Pons , Count of Toulouse . With him, Almodis again had several children: . William IV , Count of Toulouse , † 1094 . Raimund von Saint-Gilles , † 1105, Count of Toulouse and Count of Tripoli . Hugo, attested in 1063 . Almodis, attested in 1079/1132, later wife of Peter, Count of Melgueil , † after 1085 In April 1053 she was still Pons' wife, a short time later she was kidnapped by Raimund Berengar I , Count of Barcelona with the help of the fleet of a Muslim ally, the Emir of Tortosa , who took her prisoner during a stay in Narbonne . Raimund Berengar married her immediately, although both he and she were already married. The couple was mentioned in a document with their twin sons the following year. Pope Viktor II excommunicated Almodis and Raimund Berengar in 1056 because of this marriage. The couple had four children: . Raimund Berengar II , Count of Barcelona 1076-1082 . Berengar Raimund II , Count of Barcelona 1082-1096 . Inés, the future wife of Guigues III. , first Count of Viennois ( House of Albon ) . Sancha, later wife of Wilhelm Raimund , Count of Cerdanya Despite the circumstances, Almodis kept in touch with her children and also her former husbands. In 1066/67 she traveled to Toulouse for the wedding of her daughter Almodis. A few years earlier, in 1060, Hugo V of Lusignan had risen against his liege lord, William VIII , Duke of Aquitaine , to support Almodis' son from her second marriage, William IV of Toulouse. Her third husband had a son and heir, Peter Raimund (Pere Ramon) from a previous marriage . The latter distrusted Almodi's influence on his father and was convinced that she was trying to oust him in favor of her own sons. It was for these reasons that he eventually murdered her. For this act Peter Raimund was disinherited and banished from Catalonia. https://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Reinald_II._Mansoer&prev=search&pto=aue
