- LifeSketch: set in read only with several of his mother According to Ynglingatal, Historia Norwegiae and Ynglinga saga, Yngvi and Alf were the sons of Alrik. Snorri Sturluson relates that Yngvi was an accomplished king: a great warrior who always won his battles, the master of all exercises, generous, happy and sociable. He was both loved and famous. Alf was unsociable and harsh and stayed at home instead of pillaging in other countries. His mother was Dageid, the daughter of king Dag the Great from whom is descended the Dagling family. Alf was married to Bera who was happy and alert and a very lovable woman. One day in the autumn, Yngvi returned to Uppsala from a very successful Viking expedition which had rendered him famous. He used to spend time at the drinking table until late in the night, like Bera, and they found it pleasant to talk to each other. Alf, however, preferred to go to bed early and he started to tell her to go to bed early as well so that she did not wake him. Then Bera used to answer that Yngvi was much better for a woman than Alf, an answer that was getting on Alf's nerves. One evening, the jealous Alf entered the hall and saw Yngvi and Bera converse on the high seat. Yngvi had a short sword in his lap and the other guests were too drunk to see that Alf had arrived. From under his cloak Alf drew a sword and pierced Yngvi. Yngvi, mortally wounded, got up, drew his own short sword and slew Alf. They were buried in two mounds on the Fyrisvellir (Fyris Wolds).

- LifeSketch: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Faltonius_Probus_Alypius Faltonius Probus Alypius (floruit 370–397) was a politician of the Roman Empire. Life Alypius was the son of Clodius Celsinus Adelphius, Praefectus urbi of Rome in 351, and of the Christian poet Faltonia Betitia Proba. His brother, Quintus Clodius Hermogenianus Olybrius, was Roman consul in 379. In 370/371 he was exiled, under the investigations of Maximinus. In 378 he held a high office in Mauretania, possibly vicarius of Africa. On June 12, 391, he is attested ad Praefectus urbi of Rome. In 393 he was sent to the court of Emperor Eugenius, on the occasion of the celebrations for the consulship of Virius Nicomachus Flavianus for the following year. He was the addressee of some letters by Quintus Aurelius Symmachus, showing he was alive in 397, and maybe even from Ambrose. Less

Casère des Angles de L'Est of East ANGLIA
\-Frigg FERCH CADWALDR of Siluria
- Father: Edward the ELDER
- Mother: Ecgwynn spouse of Edward the ELDER
- Birth: 894, Wessex, Devon, England
- Christening: 895, Wessex
- Also known as: Aethelstan , King of Wessex & Kent
- Also known as: Ethelstan
- Also known as: Æðelstan
- FOSTERED BY AUNT ÆTHELFLAED IN MERCIA: It is believed that after the death of his mother and his fathers remarriage, Æthelstan went to live in Mercia, where his Aunt Æthelflæd and Uncle Æthelred continued his royal education. It appears that he looked upon them as loving parents and made a 'pact of paternal piety' with Æthelred.
- SIGNIFICANT ROYAL GIFT FROM ALFRED: Alfred the Great honoured his young grandson Æthelstan with a ceremony in which he gave him a scarlet cloak, a belt set with gems, and a sword with a gilded scabbard. Scholars interpret this as Alfred's endorsement of Æthelstan as his successor instead of Edward.
- SUCCEEDED EDWARD THE ELDER TO BECOME KING OF ENGLAND: Upon the death of his father King Edward on 17 July 924, Æthelstan became King of England, it is believed he was first acknowledged as king by Mercia., 17 JUL 924, Farndon, Cheshire, Mercia, England
- CORONATION: Succeeded his father and brother in 924 but was crowned King of the Anglo Saxons on 4 September 925 by the Archbishop of Canterbury, Athelm., 4 SEP 925, Kingston upon Thames, London, England
- GAINED CONTROL OF ALL BRITAIN: On July 12 927 the kings of Northumbria accepted Æthelstan's overlordship and he achieved lordship over ALL of Britain: Cornwall,Wessex, Mercia, East-Anglia, Wales, York and Northumbria., 12 JUL 927, Eamont, Penryth, Cumbria, England
- Ruled: Wessex and Mercia, BET 924 AND 939, England
- BATTLE OF BRUNANBURH: Considered one of the most significant battles of the whole of the British Isles, the Battle of Brunanburh was fought in 937 between Æthelstan, King of England, and an alliance of Olaf Guthfrithson, King of Dublin; Constantine II, King of Scotland, and Owain, King of Strathclyde., 937, Brunanburh, England
- National ID: IND2391
- LifeSketch: Æthelstan or Athelstan (/ˈæθəlstæn/; Old English: Æþelstan[a] or Æðelstān;[b] Old Norse: Aðalsteinn meaning "noble stone"; c. 894 – 27 October 939) was King of the Anglo-Saxons from 924 to 927 and King of the English from 927 to 939 when he died.[c] He was the son of King Edward the Elder and his first wife, Ecgwynn. Modern historians regard him as the first King of England and one of the greatest Anglo-Saxon kings. He never married and had no children. He was succeeded by his half-brother, Edmund. When Edward died in July 924, Æthelstan was accepted by the Mercians as king. His half-brother Ælfweard may have been recognised as king in Wessex, but died within three weeks of their father's death. Æthelstan encountered resistance in Wessex for several months, and was not crowned until September 925. In 927 he conquered the last remaining Viking kingdom, York, making him the first Anglo-Saxon ruler of the whole of England. In 934 he invaded Scotland and forced Constantine II to submit to him, but Æthelstan's rule was resented by the Scots and Vikings, and in 937 they invaded England. Æthelstan defeated them at the Battle of Brunanburh, a victory which gave him great prestige both in the British Isles and on the Continent. After his death in 939 the Vikings seized back control of York, and it was not finally reconquered until 954. Æthelstan centralised government; he increased control over the production of charters and summoned leading figures from distant areas to his councils. These meetings were also attended by rulers from outside his territory, especially Welsh kings, who thus acknowledged his overlordship. More legal texts survive from his reign than from any other 10th-century English king. They show his concern about widespread robberies, and the threat they posed to social order. His legal reforms built on those of his grandfather, Alfred the Great. Æthelstan was one of the most pious West Saxon kings, and was known for collecting relics and founding churches. His household was the centre of English learning during his reign, and it laid the foundation for the Benedictine monastic reform later in the century. No other West Saxon king played as important a role in European politics as Æthelstan, and he arranged the marriages of several of his sisters to continental rulers. - LifeSketch: The name Cameron in ancient times was variously written, in such forms as Cameron, Cambron, Cambrun. The first of which we find any trace is, I. ANGUS, Who married Marion, daughter of Kenneth, thane of Lochaber, and sister of Bancho, a fact which amply proves that Angus was a person of rank and dignity, even at that early period ; for Bancho, in addition to his position as a Royal Prince, was governor of one of the largest Provinces in the Kingdom, Lochaber being said to comprehend, at that time, all the lands between the River Spey and the Western Sea. Angus is alleged to have been instrumental in saving Fleance the son of Bancho, his own lady's nephew, from the cruelty of Macbeth, and to have been *Skene says in a foot-note, Vol. III., Celtic Scotland, p. 480, "This is the Gilleroth mentioned by Fordun in 1222 as a follower of Macohecan in his insurrec- tion, along with whom he witnesses a charter as Gilleroth, son of Gillemartan ". f Translated by Skene, and printed with the Gaelic original in Celtic Scotland, Vol. III., p. 480.'

- LifeSketch: Wikipedia Amnius Manius Caesonius Nicomachus Anicius Paulinus signo Honorius (simplified as Amnius Anicius Paulinus; fl. 334–335) was a politician of the Roman Empire. Biography Paulinus probably was the son of Amnius Anicius Julianus, consul in 322, and the nephew of Sextus Anicius Paulinus, consul in 325. He was thus a member of the gens Anicia. Paulinus was consul in 334 and praefectus urbi of Rome in 334–335. In 334 he erected an equestrian statue to emperor Constantine I in the Roman Forum;[1] a statue was dedicated to him in the Forum of Trajan, whose inscription celebrates Paulinus for "his high birth, his eloquence, his fairness, and his good judgment, for which he is renowned in private and in public".[2] Family Christian Settipani[3] has tried to reconstruct Paulinus' familial bonds. According to Settipani, Paulinus was married to Pincia (born c. 305) or, better, to Auchenia. His wife was perhaps the daughter of Pincius (b. c. 280 and c.v. in the beginning of the 4th century) and wife Caeionia (b. 285 or 290), in turn perhaps the daughter of (Marcus) Caeionius Proculus, suffect consul of Rome in 289, and wife Alfenia Juliana. They were perhaps the parents of Anicius Auchenius Bassus, praefectus urbi of Rome in 382.

Quintus ANICIUS PAULINUS II
\-Dan V ASINIA
- Father: Anlach MAC CORMACH King of Ireland
- Mother: Marchell VERCH TEWDRIG of Garth Madrun
- Birth: 419, Ireland
- Title Of Nobility: King of Brycheiniog of Garthmadrun
- LifeSketch: According to Celtic hagiography Brychan was born in Ireland, the son of a Prince Anlach, son of Coronac, and his wife, Marchel, heiress of the Welsh kingdom of Garthmadrun (Brycheiniog), which the couple later inherited. Upon his father's death, he returned to Garthmadrun and changed its name to Brycheiniog.[2] Brychan's name may be a Welsh version of the Irish name Broccán and that of his grandfather Coronac may represent Cormac.[3] Brychan's education was entrusted to one Drichan.[4] The Life of St. Cadoc by Lifris (c. 1100) portrays Brychan fighting Arthur, Cai and Bedivere because of King Gwynllyw of Gwynllwg's abduction of his daughter St. Gwladys from his court in Talgarth. Portraiture and veneration He is occasionally described as an undocumented saint[5] but the traditional literature does not call him a saint, referring to him as a patriarch instead, and he has no churches named for him.[6] A 15th-century stained glass window in the parish church at St Neot in Cornwall, supposedly depicts Brychan, seated and crowned, holding in his arms eleven children. This, however, has been described by a standard modern guide as "God with Souls in his lap".[7] Children of Brychan According to Christian tradition, Brychan was married three times – to Prawst ferch Tydwal, Banhadlwedd ferch Banadi, and Gwladys – and had a very large family. These wives are mentioned in several manuscripts, including those by William Worcester, John Leland, and Nicholas Roscarrock. The number of children attributed to him varies from twelve to sixty-three, the number most frequently encountered being twenty-four. There are two main lists however, one of Welsh origin and one of Cornish origin. Most of his children appear to have travelled from Brecon to evangelise Cornwall and North Devon, where they are now venerated, but there is little agreement between the two lists. The number of Brychan's children may have grown over time, as more and more secular people as well as saints wished to claim descent from one of the "Holy Families of Britain". Listed below are children from Welsh, Cornish, Irish, and Breton sources: Sons in Welsh sources The sons listed in the Cognacio Brychan, De Situ Brecheniauc and the genealogies of Jesus College MS 20 are Cynog, Rhain Dremrudd, Clydwyn, Arthen, Papai, Dingad, Berwyn and Rhydog. Also listed, but not in all three, are Cynon, Pasgen, Cylflifer, Marthaerun and Rhun. Other Welsh sources claim the following additional sons: Caian, Cynbryd, Cynfran, Cynin, Dogfan, Dyfnan, Dyfrig, Hychan, Llecheu, Neffei, Rhawin, Llofan, Llonio, Heilin, Afallach and Gwynnws. Daughters in Welsh sources The De Situ Brecheniauc lists: Eleri, Hunydd, Gwladys, Ceingar, Tudglid, Nyfain, Gwawr, Marchell, Lluan, Gwrygon Goddeu, Arianwen, Bethan, Ceinwen (Keyne), Cerddych, Clydai, Cynheiddon (identified with Saint Endelienta), Dwynwen, Eiliwedd, Goleudydd, Gwen, Lludd, Tudful, Tudwystl and Tybie. Other Welsh sources claim the following additional daughters: Beiol, Tydieu, Eufail, Hawystl, Edwen, Gwenrhiw, Tudwen, Callwen, Gwenfyl, Gwennan and Mwynwen. Descendants in Cornish sources Listed in the Life of Saint Nectan are, by his wife, Gwladys: Adwen, Canauc (Cynog), Cleder (Clether), Dilic (Illick), Endelient (Endelienta), Helie, Johannes (Sion), Iona, Juliana (Ilud), Kenhender (Cynidr), Keri (Curig), Mabon (Mabyn), Menfre (Menefrewy), Merewenne (Marwenna), Morewenna (Morwenna), Nectanus (Nectan), Tamalanc, Tedda (Tetha), Wencu (Gwencuff, Gwengustle, name of Saint Nennocha), Wenheden (Enoder), Wenna (Gwen), Wensent, Wynup (Gwenabwy) and Yse (Issey). According to Robert Hunt, of the holy children that settled in Cornwall, we learn that the following gave their names to Cornish churches Johannes at St Ive Endelient at St Endellion Menfre at St Minver Tethe at St Teath Mabon at St Mabyn Merewenne at Marhamchurch Wenna at St Wenn Keyne at St Keyne Yse at St Issey Morwenna at Morwenstow Cleder at St Clether Keri at Egloskerry Helie at Egloshayle Adwen at Advent Lanent at Lelant Irish sources The Book of Leinster lists the following sons by Brychan's wife, Dína daughter of the King of the Saxons: Mo-Goróc, Mo-Chonóc (Cynog), Diraid, Dubán (Dyfnan), Cairinne (Caian), Cairpre, Iast, Ellóc (Dilic), Paan, Cáemán and Mo-Beóc, Breton sources Breton tradition says that Brychan married Menedoc daughter of Constantine, King of the Scots. Together they were the parents of Saint Nennocha.
