- LifeSketch: Aslaug (Old Norse: Áslaug [ˈɑːsˌlɔuɣ]), also called Aslög, Kráka (O.N.: [ˈkrɑːkɑ]) or Kraba, is a figure in Norse mythology who appears in Snorri's Edda, the Völsunga saga and in the saga of Ragnar Lodbrok as one of his wives. According to the 13th-century Tale of Ragnar Lodbrok, Aslaug was the daughter of Sigurd and the shieldmaiden Brynhildr, but was raised by Brynhildr's foster father Heimer. At the deaths of Sigurd and Brynhildr, Heimer was concerned about Aslaug's security, so he made a harp large enough to hide the girl. He then traveled as a poor harp player carrying the harp containing the girl. They arrived at Spangereid at Lindesnes in Norway, where they stayed for the night in the house of the peasants Áke and Grima. Áke believed the harp contained valuable items and told his wife Grima. Grima then persuaded him to murder Heimer as he was sleeping. However, when they broke the harp open, they discovered a little girl, whom they raised as their own, calling her Kráka ("Crow"). In order to hide her beauty – the accepted sign of her noble origins – they rubbed her in tar and dressed her in a long hood. However, once as she was bathing, she was discovered by some of the men of the legendary king Ragnar Lodbrok. Entranced by Kráka's beauty, they allowed the bread they were baking to burn; when Ragnar inquired about this mishap, they told him about the girl. Ragnar then sent for her, but in order to test her wits, he commanded her to arrive neither dressed nor undressed, neither fasting nor eating, and neither alone nor in company. Kráka arrived dressed in a net, biting an onion, and with only a dog as a companion. Impressed by her ingenuity and finding her a wise companion, Ragnar proposed marriage to her, which she refused until he had accomplished his mission in Norway.

- Birth: 107 BC, Roma, Roman Republic
- Occupation: Aedile, 70 BC, Roma, Roman Empire
- Occupation: Consul of Rome, 62 BC, Roma, Roman Republic
- LifeSketch: Wikipedia Decimus Junius Silanus (107 – after 62 BC) was a consul of the Roman Republic. He may have been the son of Marcus Junius Silanus, consul in 109 BC. He was the stepfather of Marcus Junius Brutus, having married Brutus' mother, Servilia. Biography Marriage Born in 107 BC,[1] Decimus Junius M. f. D. n. Silanus married Servilia, the mother of Brutus, after her first husband died. Together they had four children, a son, Marcus Junius Silanus, and three daughters, Junia Prima, Junia Secunda, and Junia Tertia. Tertia was rumoured to be the daughter of Julius Caesar, who had been Servilia's lover.[a] Political career He was aedile in 70 BC, but he lost the election to be a consul of 63. He was successful the following year, and so in consequence of his being consul designatus was first asked for his opinion by Cicero in the debate in the senate on the punishment of the Catilinarian conspirators. At first he spoke in favor of "the supreme penalty" for the conspirators, but when Julius Caesar suggested life imprisonment, Silanus insisted that was what he had really meant. As such, it was left to Cato the Younger to force through the decision to actually execute them. He was consul in 62 with Lucius Licinius Murena. They proposed the lex Junia Licinia, which provided that a rogatio (a proposed law) must be promulgated three nundinae, or market-intervals, before the people voted on it. It also confirmed the lex Caecilia Didia.[3]

- LifeSketch: Wikipedia Marcus Junius Silanus Born Rome Died Rome Known for Roman consul Parents Decimus Junius Silanus (father) Servilia (mother) Marcus Junius D. f. M. n. Silanus was a Roman senator and consul in 25 BC as the colleague of Gaius Julius Caesar Octavianus, the emperor Augustus.[1] Biography Silanus was a descendant of the noble Roman house of the Junii Silani. He was probably the son of Decimus Junius Silanus, consul in 62 BC, (thus the grandson of Marcus Junius Silanus, consul in 109 BC.) and Servilia, mistress of Julius Caesar, (thus the half brother of Brutus the Younger, full brother of Junia Prima, Junia Secunda and Junia Tertia and the brother-in-law of Marcus Aemilius Lepidus, the triumvir, through Secunda.[2][3] Silanus was possibly the same man who served as one of Julius Caesar's legates in 53 BC.[4][5] He supported his brother-in-law Lepidus in 44 BC after Caesar's murder, accompanying Lepidus over the Alps. The following year, Lepidus sent him with a detachment of troops to join Marcus Antonius at Mutina,[6] but refused to accept responsibility for the help which Silanus gave.[7] After falling out of favor with the triumvirs, in 39 he fled to Sextus Pompeius.[8] He was able to return to Antonius's service under the terms of the Pact of Misenum.[9] Silanus later served under Antonius in Achaea and Macedonia[10] from 34 to 32, with the title of Quaestor pro consule or perhaps Proquaestor.[11] Around this time he was also elected as an Augur.[12] Although the inscription in Achaea names a Silanus who's parents were named Marcus and Sempronia.[13] Before the Battle of Actium, Silanus went over to Octavianus.[14] The future emperor raised him to the Patriciate in 30 BC,[15] and they held the consulship together in 25.[16][17] Marcus may have married a woman named Manlia from the Manlii Torquati, based on hs descendants names.[18] Silanus' grandson, Marcus Junius Silanus Torquatus, was consul in AD 19, and married a great-granddaughter of Augustus.[19]

- Father: Simon the Just ONIAS
- Also known as: Onias II ben "Simon the Just" ha-Kohen
- Title Of Nobility: 41st High Priest of Israel
- He is #41 (or #45 Minelaus) on these lists of High Priests:: https://origin-science.org/high-priests-of-israel/
- LifeSketch: Onias II (Hebrew: חוֹנִיּוֹ Ḥōniyyō or Honio or Honiyya ben Shimon; Greek: Onias Simonides) was the son of Simon the Just. He was still a minor when his father died, so that his uncle Eleazar, and after him the latter's uncle Manasseh, officiated as high priests before he himself succeeded to that dignity. According to Josephus, he was a covetous man and of limited intelligence, whose refusal to pay the twenty talents of silver which every high priest was required to pay to the King of Egypt threatened to imperil both the high priest and the people; but at this juncture Joseph, the clever son of Tobias and nephew of Onias, succeeded in pacifying Ptolemy III (Euergetes). Onias is said to have died, almost simultaneously with his nephew Joseph, during the reign of Seleucus IV Philopator, hence about 181 BCE. His successor in office was Onias III. *from Wikipedia* -- Adam to Christ SL FHL film #1059467 Item 1 tab 15, 16, Josephus Antq. bk 12: chpt 2, vs 5, #43. Loeb biblical family tree

- Father: Kuridakos father of EDIKON
- Birth: 406, Schwaben, Bavaria, Germany
- Also known as: Edeko, Edica, Edico, Edikon, Etico, Eiticus, Etiko de Skyre
- Occupation: Roi, des Skyres, germanerhøvding
- LifeSketch: Edeko was for some time the chief of the Scirii. In the middle of the 5th century the Scirii were a Germanic Tribe and vassals of the Huns. Edeko was a famous person at the court of Attila. According to written sources he protected Attila with his life. In the Battle of Châlons Edeko fought by the side of the Huns. Following the destruction of the Sciri, who had been incited to break their treaty with the Ostrogoths by Hunimund, king of the Swabians, Edeko, with his son Onoulphus, joined the Swabian side in the Battle of Bolia in the late 460s, where they were again defeated by the Ostrogoths under their king Theodemir. Edeko was the father of Odoacer, who became a magister militum in the Roman Army and king of Italy. According to a reconstruction by Stephan Krautschick, Odoacer and Onoulphus were brothers of Flavius Armatus, so they were also nephews of Basiliscus and Empress Verina and Edeko must have been married to a sister of Verina. Sources Krautschick, Stephan (1986). "Zwei Aspekte des Jahres 476". Historia 35: pp. 344–371. Nothing is known specifically about the wife of Edeko and mother of Odoacer. The question is a matter of academic interest because it bears on Odoacer's ethnicity. There are late genealogical claims that she was an Herule; an Ostrogoth; the daughter of Hunimund, king of the Swabians; etc. According to a reconstruction by Stephan Krautschick, Odoacer and Onoulphus were brothers of Flavius Armatus, so they were also nephews of Basiliscus and Empress Verina. Therefore, Edeko's wife must have been a sister of Verina. Sources Krautschick, Stephan (1986). "Zwei Aspekte des Jahres 476". Historia 35: pp. 344–371.

- Alternate Birthplace: 638, Garderige, Russian Federation
- LifeSketch: English: Radbart (Old Norse: Ráðbarðr or Raðbarðr, b. 655), according to Sögubrot af nokkrum fornkonungum (or fragment of a saga about ancient kings), was a legendary late 7th-century Viking chieftain, king of Garðaríki. appears in Hyndluljóð.2 In Sögubrot it is cited that he married the fugitive princess Aud without the consent of her father, King Ivar Vidfamne, who organized an expedition to punish his daughter. But King Ivar was old, and he died on the way. Radbart helped his wife's son (from a previous marriage), Harald Hilditonn, claim his inheritance right to his grandfather's estates in Sweden and Denmark. Ráðbarðr and Auðr had a son together named Randver.

- LifeSketch: Lagertha, according to legend, was a Viking ruler and shield-maiden from what is now Norway, and the onetime wife of the famous Viking Ragnar Lodbrok. Her tale was recorded by the chronicler Saxo in the 12th century. According to the historian Judith Jesch, Saxo's tales about warrior women are largely fictional; other historians wrote that they may have a basis in tales about the Norse deity Thorgerd.

- Father: Skjold of the DANES
- Mother: Gefjon of Skjaelland and SCANIE
- Birth: 259, Hleithra, Nordjylland, Jutland, Denmark
- LifeSketch: Frode was King of Denmark at Lejre. He was born a fairly short time before his father, Fridleiv's death, and he was descended from 'Odin', on both father and mother's side. Frode did some traveling in his days, through Russia and likely back to his ancestral homeland in Asia Minor area. There is some indication of him have some sort of interaction with the Roman Emperor Vespasian. This would date Frode during the first century after Christ instead of the thirds century as the dates shown in this genealogy indicate.
