- LifeSketch: We know Unruoch as one of the greats of Kaiser Karl. His family was one of the most powerful Alemannias, but like most of the people who gained influence here in the 8th century, they were originally of Franconian origin. In the 9th century the center of power of the family was mainly in Italy, where Unruoch's descendants administered the Friuli region for a long time and eventually rose to the rank of emperor. From old Frankish nobility with free float, especially in Swabia and the Netherlands. He was an important imperial pillar and missus
- LifeSketch: Unruoch must have been one of the most important paladins of CHARLES THE GREAT. Because he belongs to the five Franconian and six Saxon counts who made a peace with the Danes on the distant Eider in 811 and he testified the will of the emperor with several other magnatesus.

- Father: Alexander II BEN ARISTOBULUS II
- Mother: Alexandra bint John HYRCANUS II
- Birth: 57 BC, Judea, Roman Empire
- Also known as: Mariamne the Hasmonean
- Also known as: Mariamne daughter of Alexander by Alexandria
- Also known as: Mariamne bat Alexander
- Clan Name: Hasmonean (Maccabean) Dynasty
- LifeSketch: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mariamne_I Mariamne I (died 25 BC), also called Mariamne the Hasmonean, was a Hasmonean princess and the second wife of Herod the Great. She was known for her great beauty, as was her brother Aristobulus III. Herod's fear of his rivals, the Hasmoneans, led him to execute all of the prominent members of the family, including Mariamne. Children son Alexander, executed 2 BC son Aristobulus IV, executed 2 BC daughter Salampsio daughter Cypros Mariamne was the daughter of the Hasmonean Alexandros, also known as Alexander of Judaea, and thus one of the last heirs to the Hasmonean dynasty of Judea. Mariamne's only sibling was Aristobulus III. Her father, Alexander of Judaea, the son of Aristobulus II, married his cousin Alexandra, daughter of his uncle Hyrcanus II, in order to cement the line of inheritance from Hyrcanus and Aristobulus, but the inheritance soon continued the blood feud of previous generations, and eventually led to the downfall of the Hasmonean line. By virtue of her parents' union, Mariamne claimed Hasmonean royalty on both sides of her family lineage. Her mother, Alexandra, arranged for her betrothal to Herod in 37 BC after Herod agreed to a Ketubah with Mariamne's parents. The two were wed four years later (33 BC) in Samaria. Mariamne bore Herod four children: two sons, Alexandros and Aristobulus (both executed in 3/2 BC), and two daughters, Salampsio and Cypros. A fifth child (male), drowned at a young age – likely in the Pontine Marshes near Rome, after Herod's sons had been sent to receive educations in Rome in 20 BCE. Josephus writes that it was because of Mariamne's vehement insistence that Herod made her brother Aristobulos a High Priest. Aristobulos, who was not even eighteen years old, drowned (in 32 BC) within a year of his appointment; Alexandra, his mother, blamed Herod. Alexandra wrote to Cleopatra, begging her assistance in avenging the boy's murder. Cleopatra in turn urged Mark Antony to punish Herod for the crime, and Antony sent for him to make his defense. Herod left his young wife in the care of his uncle Joseph, along with the instructions that if Antony should kill him, Joseph should kill Mariamne. Herod believed his wife to be so beautiful that she would become engaged to another man after his death and that his great passion for Mariamne prevented him from enduring a separation from her, even in death. Joseph became familiar with the queen and eventually divulged this information to her and the other women of the household, which did not have the hoped-for effect of proving Herod's devotion to his wife. Rumors soon circulated that Herod had been killed by Antony, and Alexandra persuaded Joseph to take Mariamne and her to the Roman legions for protection. However, Herod was released by Antony and returned home, only to be informed of Alexandra's plan by his mother and sister, Salome. Salome also accused Mariamne of committing adultery with Joseph, a charge which Herod initially dismissed after discussing it with his wife. After Herod forgave her, Mariamne inquired about the order given to Joseph to kill her should Herod be killed, and Herod then became convinced of her infidelity, saying that Joseph would only have confided that to her were the two of them intimate. He gave orders for Joseph to be executed and for Alexandra to be confined, but Herod did not punish his wife. Because of this conflict between Mariamne and Salome, when Herod visited Augustus in Rhodes in 31 BCE, he separated the women. He left his sister and his sons in Masada while he moved his wife and mother-in-law to Alexandrium. Again, Herod left instructions that should he die, the charge of the government was to be left to Salome and his sons, and Mariamne and her mother were to be killed. Mariamne and Alexandra were left in the charge of another man named Sohemus, and after gaining his trust again learned of the instructions Herod provided should harm befall him. Mariamne became convinced that Herod did not truly love her and resented that he would not let her survive him. When Herod returned home, Mariamne treated him coldly and did not conceal her hatred for him. Salome and her mother preyed on this opportunity, feeding Herod false information to fuel his dislike. Herod still favored her; but she refused to have sexual relations with him and accused him of killing her grandfather, Hyrcanus II, and her brother. Salome insinuated that Mariamne planned to poison Herod, and Herod had Mariamne's favorite eunuch tortured to learn more. The eunuch knew nothing of a plot to poison the king, but confessed the only thing he did know: that Mariamne was dissatisfied with the king because of the orders given to Sohemus. Outraged, Herod called for the immediate execution of Sohemus, but permitted Mariamne to stand trial for the alleged murder plot. To gain favor with Herod, Mariamne's mother even implied Mariamne was plotting to commit lèse majesté. Mariamne was ultimately convicted and executed in 25 BC. Herod grieved for her for many months.

- LifeSketch: After the year 18, little is known about the life of Tigranes. His wife was the unnamed daughter of Pheroras,[25] by whom he had no children.[26] Pheroras was his paternal great-uncle and a brother to Herod. Tacitus records that Tigranes as a victim of the reign of terror that marked the latter years of Tiberius.[27] The charges brought against him by Tiberius in year 36 are not stated but it is clear that he did not survive them. His death followed the Roman installation in year 35 of a new client king in Armenia, the Iberian Prince Mithridates, as a part of a broader campaign against Artabanus III of Parthia.[28] http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tigranes_V_of_Armenia

- Father: Antiochus VIII Grypos of SYRIA
- Mother: Cleopatra Selene II of EGYPT
- Title Of Nobility: King of Egypt for 19 days during 80 BC
- LifeSketch: Ptolemy XI Alexander II was a member of the Ptolemaic dynasty who ruled Egypt for a few days in 80 BC. He was a son of Ptolemy X Alexander I and Cleopatra Selene. Ptolemy XI was born to Ptolemy X Alexander I and supposedly Cleopatra Selene. His uncle Ptolemy IX Lathryos died in 81 BC or 80 BC, leaving only his sole legitimate daughter as his heir, and so Cleopatra Berenice III ruled alone for a time. However, Rome's Sulla wanted a pro-Roman ruler on the throne, and sent the young son of Ptolemy X to Egypt, displaying Ptolemy Alexander's will in Rome as supposed justification for this obvious interference. The will also apparently required Ptolemy XI to marry Berenice III, who was his stepmother, cousin, and possible half-sister. However, nineteen days after the marriage, Ptolemy XI murdered his bride for unknown reasons, an unwise move since Berenice was very popular; Ptolemy was soon lynched by the citizens of Alexandria. He was succeeded by his cousin Ptolemy XII, an illegitimate son of Ptolemy IX.

- Birth: Shalford, Essex, England
- Christening: Shalford, Essex, England
- Also known as: Brydgette Allgar
- LifeSketch: Bridget was baptized 11 Mar 1561/2 in Shalford, Essex, England, daughter of William Allgar. As is common during this period, the mother's name was not recorded in the parish register. There does not appear to be any evidence that Bridget's mother was the "Margaret Parye" or "Margaret Payre" whose name is spread far and wide across the internet. The original version of this sketch was based on a wikitree profile that gave Margaret Parye as Bridget's mother, but that profile has since been clarified. That said, there is no record of the burial of any wife of William Allgar in the Shalford parish register, so it stands to reason that Bridget's mother was the Margaret whom William named as his wife and Executrix in his will. The issue is with Margaret's maiden name and parentage; not her given name. It is conceivable that evidence as to Margaret's identity may be discovered in the Essex Chancery Court records, but I am not aware of such at this time. Caution should be exercised with respect to the existence of an alleged daughter of William Allgar named "Prudence." The ONLY place where any reference to such a person can be found is in the abstract by Emmison of the 1575 will of William Allgar. Emmison mistranscribed Bridget's name as "Prudence" in the will's list of William Allgar's daughters. But since the parish register is devoid of any mention of any "Prudence Allgar" at any time, no credit can be given to that reading. Marriage and Children Bridget married Robert White on 24 June 1585 in Shalford, Essex. The marriage records in the Shalford parish register gives the couple's names as Robert WHIGHTE (= White) and Brydgette ALLGAR. Children: Sarah White Boutell (1586 - ____) Mary White Loomis (1590 - 1652) Elizabeth White Goodwin (1591 - ____) John White (1595 - 1683) Anna White Porter (1600 - 1648) Bridget White, baptized at Shalford, 18 Aug 1594 ERROR Following Robert White's death in 1617, Bridget White (his widow) did NOT marry John Christmas, Jr.and have two sons, Richard and John Christmas. There was a connection between the families, to be sure, as one of the witnesses to Robert White's will was John Christmas, Sr. - but John Jr. did not go on to marry Robert White's widow. It was the much younger Bridget White (daughter of Robert White and his wife Bridget (Allgar) White), who married John Christmas, Jr., 18 Sept 1618 at Messing, Essex, England.[1] Note that by 1618 Bridget (Allgar) White would have been 56 years old, and therefore unable to have any more children. Death Bridget (Brydgette) (Algar) White died sometime after 9 June 1623. She must have been alive then because on that date her son Nathaniel White of Feering, Essex left her in his will an annuity of ten pounds. Disputed items: DEATH Some errant person put forth the notion that Bridget (Allgar) White died 24 Jun 1605 at Shalford, but this is wholly erroneous. In his will of May 1617, Robert White specified, "Item: all the rest of my goods unbequeathed I give and bequeathe unto my wife Bridgett White and to my sonne Daniell White whom I constitute and ordayne the ioynte executors of this my last will and testament..." LOCATION There is nothing in the text or sources to support the proposition Bridget Algar was born in Hatfield, Broad Oak, Essex, which is 12 miles south-southeast of Shalford. She was baptized in Shalford, per the parish register. Under English law at the time children had to be christened in the parish where their parents lived. In addition, most of her siblings were baptized in Shalford, and she was married in Shalford. There is no mention of Hatfield, Broad Oak in any of the sources given for Bridget Algar, and no text or footnote found to support that location in the Vital record section. Includes abstract or extracts from the "[Shalford] Church Register which begins in 1558" from the author's visit to the parish in 1891. (p. 395)] Includes will of Robert White "as entered in the records of the Prerogative Court of Canterbury, volume Weldon, 40." - LifeSketch: John Gregory married an unknown Alice (listed on the 17th century pedigree as a Latinized Alicia with no surname - see pedigree charts under "memories"). The chart is confusing, and was made up in 1675 to change the Gregory Coat of Arms for descendants of Henry's nephew John who married Elizabeth Alton. "In the old Town Hall of Nottingham, torn down a few years ago, were the arms of a number of town benefactors. The sixth shield contained the Gregory of Highhurst and Urmston arms, impaled with those of Alton and Kyme. These were the bearings of John Gregory, father of George and son of Alderman William." -- from Grant Gregory's 1938 "Ancestors and Descendants of Henry Gregory". While the chart does not include a surname for Alicia, it has been misread, and this misreading has been perpetuated, even by the Institute of Family Research. Next to this Alicia are Joh Alton and Elizabeth Brightman, and they are there because their granddaughter Elizabeth Alton married John Gregory the grandson of John and Alice; John Alton and Elizabeth Brightman are not parents of Alice (same line; parents are always on a line above). This chart was made up specifically to include the Alton-Kyme ancestry of (grandson) John's wife Elizabeth Alton, so that the Gregory-Ormeston coat of arms could be quartered to include Alton and Kyme. Alice's surname is unknown and furthermore is unlikely to be Alton as a recent earlier inclusion of this family name would have been remembered. Grant Gregory noted that her name may have been Baylye, but he and his team of professional British genealogists failed to find a source to prove it.

- LifeSketch: A version of the legend of Starkad can be found in the prologue of the U-version of Hervarar saga, and in a shortened form in the H-version of the Hauksbók.[5] In this version a Starkad Ala-Warrior lived in northern Norway at the waterfalls of Alufoss. He descended from the giants known as the þursar (jotuns), and his father's name was Storkvid. Starkad was very much a jotun himself and had eight arms, but he was betrothed to a girl named Ogn Elf-burst. One day, when Starkad had gone north across the Élivágar, another giant named Hergrim kidnapped Ogn. Starkad challenged Hergrim to a holmgang, a duel. Starkad used four swords at the same time and slew Hergrim. Ogn did not wish to be Starkad's wife and committed suicide by stabbing herself with a sword. Starkad took everything Hergrimr owned including his son Grimr.

This was also the same Zerubabbel who became the progenitor ancestor of all the royal Davidian lineages to this date. One of these, the Matthew Lineage, became the Babylonian-Jewish lineage. This Lineage went directly to Joseph and Cleopas, sons of Jacob ben Matthan. (2 Chronicles 26:1) Uzziah was 16 when he became king of Judah and reigned for 52 years. The first 24 years of his reign were as co-regent with his father, Amaziah. William F. Albright dated Uzziah's reign to 783 – 742 BC.[2] Edwin R. Thiele's chronology has Uzziah becoming coregent with his father Amaziah in 792/791 BC,[3] and sole ruler of Judah after his father's death in 768/767 BC. Uzziah was struck with leprosy for disobeying God (2 Kings 15:5, 2 Chronicles 26:19–21). Thiele dates Uzziah's being struck with leprosy to 751/750 BC, at which time his son Jotham took over the government, with Uzziah living on until 740/739 BC.[3] Pekah became king of Israel in the last year of Uzziah's reign. The Gospel of Matthew lists Uzziah in the genealogy of Jesus. Uzziah Reigns in Judah When Azariah the chief priest and all the priests turned to him and saw his leprous forehead, they rushed him out. Indeed, he himself hurried to get out, because the LORD had afflicted him. King Uzziah was a leper until the day of his death. He lived in isolation, leprous and cut off from the house of the LORD, while his son Jotham had charge of the royal palace to govern the people of the land. As for the rest of the acts of Uzziah, from beginning to end, they are recorded by the prophet Isaiah son of Amoz.…
