- Birth: ABT 31 BC, Kingdom of Thrace, Anatolia, Roman Empire
- Title Of Nobility: King of the Sapaean Kingdom of Thrace, BET 12 BC AND 12, Kingdom of Thrace, Anatolia, Roman Empire
- LifeSketch: Wikipedia Rhoemetalces I (Ancient Greek: Ῥοιμητάλκης) was king of the Sapaean kingdom of Thrace from 12 BC to 12 AD, in succession to his nephew Rhescuporis I.[1] Rhoemetalces I was a loyal ally to the first Roman Emperor Augustus. He was a direct descendant of the Thracian King Cotys I, and the middle son of the earlier Thracian king Cotys IV. His younger brother was Rhescuporis II. When Cotys VII died about 48 BC Rhoemetalces became the guardian of his nephew Rhescuporis I, his brother's young son and heir. Rhescuporis I died in 13 BC, when he was defeated and slain in battle by Vologases, chief of the Thracian Bessi, who was a leader in the revolt against the Romans in that year. During this revolt Rhoemetalces and his family fled Thrace, returning only when it ended, when Augustus returned the kingdom to his family. As Rhescuporis I had left no heir, Rhoemetalces became King of Thrace in 12 BC. The Roman Historian Tacitus, describes him as ‘attractive and civilized’. His wife and the mother of his heir, known only through numismatic evidence, was Queen Pythodoris [I]. Rhoemetalces I ruled Thrace until his death in 12. Augustus then divided his realm into two separate kingdoms, one half for his son Cotys VIII to rule and the other half for Rhoemetalces's remaining brother Rhescuporis II. Tacitus states that Cotys received the cultivated parts, most towns and most Greek cities of Thrace, while Rhescuporis received the wild and savage portion with enemies on its frontier.[

- LifeSketch: Parents of Rollo (not Duc, not King ) [Sure, he has parents but WE DO NOT know who they were at this time. The first information tells us he is from Denmark and has Danish parents. Later we have a source that he is from Norway and had Norwegian parents. Most is speaking for Denmark. His army consisted mostly of Danes. Some of his descendants are called 'Danes' but never Norwegians.] Theoretically Danish - Swedish - Norwegan people carry the same DNA and have had tribal migration patters over thousands of years. ______________________________________________ Rollo of Normandy (circa 860 - circa 932) was a Viking, who became ruler of Normandy was born in (Scandinavia) and died circa 932 in France of unspecified causes. He married Poppa de Bayeux (c 870-c 910) . Contents: Rollo of Normandy was the founder and first ruler of the Viking principality in what soon became known as Normandy in modern-day western France. Disputed origins: The question of Rollo's Danish or Norwegian origins was a matter of heated dispute between Norwegian and Danish historians of the 19th and early 20th century, particularly in the run-up to Normandy's 1000-year-anniversary in 1911. Today, historians still disagree on this question, but most would now agree that a certain conclusion can never be reached. Danish theory Dudo of St. Quentin, in his De moribus et actis primorum Normannorum ducum (Latin), tells of a powerful Danish nobleman at loggerheads with the king of Denmark, who then died and left his two sons, Gurim and Rollo, leaving Rollo to be expelled and Gurim killed. William of Jumièges also mentions Rollo's prehistory in his Gesta Normannorum Ducum however he states that he was from the Danish town of Fakse. Wace, writing some 300 years after the event in his Roman de Rou, also mentions the two brothers (as Rou and Garin), as does the Orkneyinga Saga. Norwegian theory Norwegian and Icelandic historians identified this Rollo with a son of Rognvald Eysteinsson, Earl of Møre, in Western Norway, based on medieval Norwegian and Icelandic sagas that mention a Ganger Hrolf (Hrolf, the Walker). The oldest source of this version is the Latin Historia Norvegiae, written in Norway at the end of the 12th century. This Hrolf fell foul of the Norwegian king Harald Fairhair, and became a Jarl in Normandy. The nickname of that character came from being so big that no horse could carry him. Names and major achievements: Also known as Hrolf the Ganger or Rollon, 1st Duke of Normandy, from 911 to 927, called also Rolf the Walker, because, being so tall, he preferred to go afoot rather than ride the little horses. Also shown as Rollon, Row, or Robert. Originally a Norse Viking, he was noted for strength and martial prowess. In the reign of Charles II the Bald, he sailed up the Seine River and took Rouen, which he kept as a base of operations. He gained a number of victories over the Franks, and extorted the cession of the province since called Normandy. By the famous treaty which Charles the Bald and Rollo signed the latter agreed to adopt Christianity. Biography details: 885 Siege of Paris In 885, Rollo was one of the lesser leaders of the Viking fleet which besieged Paris under Sigfred. Legend has it that an emissary was sent by the king to find the chieftain and negotiate terms. When he asked for this information, the Vikings replied that they were all chieftains in their own right. In 886, when Sigfred retreated in return for tribute, Rollo stayed behind and was eventually bought off and sent to harry Burgundy. 911 Invasion of Western France Later, he returned to the Seine with his followers (known as Danes, or Norsemen). He invaded the area of northern France now known as Normandy. In 911 Rollo's forces were defeated at the Battle of Chartres by the troops of King Charles the Simple.[1] In the aftermath of the battle, rather than pay Rollo to leave, as was customary, Charles the Simple understood that he could no longer hold back their onslaught, and decided to give Rollo the coastal lands they occupied under the condition that he defend against other raiding Vikings. In the Treaty of Saint-Clair-sur-Epte (911) with King Charles, Rollo pledged feudal allegiance to the king, changed his name to the Frankish version, and converted to Christianity, probably with the baptismal name Robert.[2] In return, King Charles granted Rollo the lower Seine area (today's upper Normandy) and the titular rulership of Normandy, centred around the city of Rouen. There exists some argument among historians as to whether Rollo was a "duke" (dux) or whether his position was equivalent to that of a "count" under Charlemagne. According to legend, when required to kiss the foot of King Charles, as a condition of the treaty, he refused to perform so great a humiliation, and when Charles extended his foot to Rollo, Rollo ordered one of his warriors to do so in his place. His warrior then lifted Charles' foot up to his mouth causing him to fall to the ground. Settlement of Normandy: Initially, Rollo stayed true to his word of defending the shores of the Seine river in accordance to the Treaty of Saint-Clair-sur-Epte, but in time he and his followers had very different ideas. Rollo began to divide the land between the Epte and Risle rivers among his chieftains and settled there with a de facto capital in Rouen. With these settlements, Rollo began to further raid other Frankish lands, now from the security of a settled homeland, rather than a mobile fleet. Eventually, however, Rollo's men intermarried with the local women, and became more settled as Frenchmen. At the time of his death, Rollo's expansion of his territory had extended as far west as the Vire River. Death of Rollo: Sometime around 927, Rollo passed the fief in Normandy to his son, William Longsword. Rollo may have lived for a few years after that, but certainly died before 933. According to the historian Adhemar, 'As Rollo's death drew near, he went mad and had a hundred Christian prisoners beheaded in front of him in honour of the gods whom he had worshipped, and in the end distributed a hundred pounds of gold around the churches in honour of the true God in whose name he had accepted baptism.' Even though Rollo had converted to Christianity, some of his pagan roots surfaced at the end. Residence at Falaise: In Falaise, France, is a series of statues that pays tribute to the six Norman Dukes from Rollo to William the Conqueror. The castle here was the principal residence of the Norman Knights. [Although Granger, or Grange in Old Norse, which means 'the Walker', is often mistakenly believed to be the name of Rollo Ragnvaldsson; it was actually a nickname given to him because he was such a large man that no horse could bear him and he was mostly forced to walk. Rolf is a contraction of Hrodwulf (Rudolf) which is a conjunction of the stem words hrod (renown) + wulf (wolf), and is written in Old Norse as Hrólfr - which was another nickname of Rollo.] An attempt was made in 2011 to extract DNA from the graves of his grandson and great-grandson, but failed - it was only shown that the bones in the grave were far older than the grandson, so it couldn't be the right bones.(Various Sources.)

- LifeSketch: Wikipedia First marriage: Rozala of Italy Immediately after associating his son with the throne, Hugh Capet wanted Robert II to marry a royal princess, but due the prohibition against marriage within the third degree of consanguinity, obliged him to seek a bride in the East. He had a letter written by Gerbert of Aurillac asking the Byzantine Emperor Basil II the hand of one of his nieces for Robert II; however, no Byzantine response is recorded.[32] After this rebuff, and under pressure from his father (who apparently wanted to reward the Flemish for their help when he seized power in 987),[33] Robert II had to marry Rozala, daughter of Berengar II of Ivrea, King of Italy and widow of Arnulf II, Count of Flanders. The wedding, celebrated before 1 April 988, brought Robert II possession of the cities of Montreuil and Ponthieu and a possible guardianship over the County of Flanders given the still young age of Rozala's son Baldwin IV, for whom she had been acting as regent ever since her first husband's death.[34][35] Upon her marriage, Rozala became Junior-Queen consort of the Franks and took the name of Susanna;[36][37] however, after about three or four years of marriage (c. 991–992), the young Robert II repudiates his wife,[38] due to the excessive age difference between them (Rozala was almost 22 years older than him),[39] and probably too old to have more children. Separated from her husband, Rozala returned to Flanders at the side of her son Baldwin IV, and became one of his principal advisers. Robert II managed to kept the port of Montreuil (part of his former wife's dowry), a strategic point on the Channel.[17] Historians believe that from this period, Robert II wishes to challenge his father, and he would finally like to reign alone. In addition, it justifies the breakup by the absence of a child from this union; for this reason, Hugh Capet and his advisers do not oppose the divorce proceedings. King Robert, having arrived at his 19th year, in the prime of his youth, repudiated, because she was too old, his wife Susanna, Italian by nation. (Richer of Reims, History, 996–998.[40]) The marriage was formally annulled in late 996, following Hugh Capet's death and Robert II's ascension as sole King of the French.

- LifeSketch: Sāssān (Middle Persian 𐭮𐭠𐭮𐭠𐭭 Sāsān > Persian ساسان, also known as Sasan), considered the eponymous ancestor of the Sasanian (or Sassanid) Dynasty (ruled 224-651) in Persia, was "a great warrior and hunter" and a Zoroastrian high priest in Pars. He lived sometime near the fall of the Arsacid (Parthian) Empire in the early 3rd century CE. There are many slightly different stories concerning Sasan and his relation to Ardashir I, the founder of the Sasanian Empire. The northern Iranian historian Tabari mentions that Sasan married Rambehesht, a princess of the Bāzarangid family, the vassal dynasty of Pārs, and that Sasan was a grandfather of Ardashir I, while Papak is named as Ardashir I's father. According to the Pahlavi book of Karnamak-i Artaxshir-i Papakan, Sasan's wife was a daughter of a nobleman called Papak. The marriage was arranged by Papak after hearing that Sasan has "Achamenian (Achaemenid) blood in him". Their son was Ardashir I. Sasan vanishes shortly after Ardashir appears in the story and Papak is "considered the father of Ardashir". These stories on different relations between Ardashir, Pāpak, and Sāsān have, according to Frye, a Zoroastrian explanation. Sasan was indeed the father of Ardashir and "disappears" from the story after the birth of Ardashir. Similar to the current Zoroastrian practices, Papak had then taken the responsibility of his daughter and her son Ardashir after Sasan "disappears" and is named afterwards as the father of Ardashir. In the Kabe Zartosht inscription of Shapur I the Great, the four named persons "Sasan, Papak, Ardashir, Shapur" have different titles: Sasan is named as hwataw or xwadāy ("the lord", usually given to sovereigns of small local principalities), Papak as shah, Ardashir as shāhanshāh ("King of Kings of the Sasanian Empire") and Shapur as "King of Kings of Iran and Aniran". However, according to Touraj Daryaee, Sasanian sources cannot be trusted because they were from the royal Sasanian archives, which were made by the court, in the words of Daryaee, "to fit the world-view of the late Sasanian world". Daryaee and several other scholars state that Sasan had his name from a deity who was known in many parts of Asia but not in Fars, the homeland of the Sasanians, which thus means that Sasan was an Iranian foreigner from the west or the east who had settled in Fars, whose inhabitants did not know about this deity he believed in. Sasan later managed to become the priest of the important Anahid temple in Estakhr, the capital of Fars. According to the Bundahishn, which according to Daryaee was made independently and not by the Sasanian court, Sasan's daughter later married Papak and bore him Ardashir. Furthermore, the Bundahishn states that Sasan was the son of a certain Weh-afrid. The political ambition of Sasan was evoked by the troubles and weakness of the last years of the Parthian empire. According to Tabari, Papak managed to consolidate his power with the help of his own sons Shapur and Ardashir. This is considered the beginning of the Sasanian dynasty. Sasan's family became the rulers of the second Persian Empire and ruled over a great portion of western Asia (the first Persian Empire having been ruled by the dynasty of Cyrus the Great). The three founders of this new empire – that is, Papak and his two sons – are depicted and mentioned on the wall of the harem of Xerxes at Persepolis, a remnant site of the Achaemenids, a representation suggested to be the evidence of a claim to Achaemenid heritage likely later added. Sasan is known for his efforts to try to bring Zoroastrianism back into the empire. He even encouraged Papak to take over the Parthian satrapy of Pars.

- Father: Quintus Servillius CAEPIO Quaestor of Rome
- Mother: Livia DRUSA
- Birth: ABT 100 BC, Roma, Roman Republic
- Also known as: Servilia Major
- LifeSketch: Parent(s) Quintus Servilius Caepio and Livia Servilia (born c. 100 BC[1]–after 42 BC)[2] was a Roman matron from a distinguished family, the Servilii Caepiones. She was the daughter of Quintus Servilius Caepio and Livia, thus the half-sister of Cato the Younger. She married Marcus Junius Brutus, they had a son, the Brutus who would assassinate Caesar. After her first husband's death in 77, she married Decimus Junius Silanus,[3][1] and with him had a son and three daughters. She gained fame as the mistress of Julius Caesar,[4] whom her son Brutus and son-in-law Gaius Cassius Longinus, would assassinate in 44 BC. The relationship between Caesar and her seems to have been well known in Rome at the time.[4] Plutarch stated that she in turn was madly in love with him.[5] The relationship between the two probably started in 59, after the death of Servilia's second husband.[6] Early life Servilia was a patrician who could trace her line back to Gaius Servilius Ahala,[1] and was the eldest child[citation needed] of Livia and Quintus Servilius Caepio. Her parents had two other children, a younger Servilia and a Gnaeus Servilius Caepio; her father also likely had another son named Quintus Servilius Caepio from an earlier marriage.[7] They divorced when she was three or four,[8] and her mother then married Marcus Porcius Cato. From this union, Servilia's half-brother, Cato the Younger, and half-sister, Porcia, were born. However, her mother and stepfather both died before 91 BC. As a result, Servilia, her younger siblings, and her half-siblings were all brought up in the house of their maternal uncle, Marcus Livius Drusus. He was assassinated during his tribunate in 91 BC, in his own atrium, when Servilia was nine.[8] Her father was ambushed and killed in the immediately ensuing Social War, a war triggered by Drusus' assassination, mere months after her uncle's murder.[8] After the death of her mother and father, she was probably brought up by Drusus' biological brother Mamercus Aemilius Lepidus Livianus.[9] At adulthood, Servilia became legally independent and gained a considerable estate.[10][page needed][dubious – discuss] Servilia had great influence on her half-brother Cato the Younger.[11] He was considered to be tough and wild as a child, which frames Servilia as his equal in those respects.[10] As a young girl belonging to Roman ruling class, Servilia would have been well educated. She likely would have been taught to read, write, sing, dance, and play an instrument.[10] She would have read poetry, epics, and histories.[10] Marriages and children A denarius of Marcus Junius Brutus issued after the assassination of Julius Caesar, Servilia's son and lover, respectively. At the age of 13 or 14, she married Marcus Junius Brutus in the early 80s, who later was tribune of the plebs (83 BC) and founder of a colony at Capua. They had one child, the future tyrannicide Marcus Junius Brutus, born around 85 BC.[12] This was a profitable marriage for Brutus, who would gain fortune, stability, and political traction through Servilia.[10] Although the elder Brutus survived Sulla's proscriptions, he was treacherously killed by Pompey after surrendering at Mutina in 77 BC.[13][12][14] After the death of the elder Brutus, Servilia's bond with her son grew.[10] She also arranged for her son to be adopted into her family,[12] allowing for the name of the Servilii Caepiones to be preserved.[3] Servilia subsequently married Decimus Junius Silanus,[3] by whom she three daughters.[15] Her daughters were all married into prominent and politically active families,[16][page needed] Her first daughter married Publius Servilius Vatia Isauricus;[10][page needed] her second married Marcus Aemilius Lepidus (later triumvir);[10][page needed] and her third daughter married Gaius Cassius Longinus.[10][page needed] Servilia was well connected and facilitated these advantageous marriages herself.[10] It is speculated that either soon after she married Silanus, or after the births of her daughters, Servilia's notorious affair with Caesar began.[10] Silanus is not depicted to have been against the affair.[10][page needed] Servilia did not remarry after the death of Silanus around 59 BC,[17] and remained unmarried for the rest of her life.[10][page needed] She was able to live independently as a widow, owning various estates due to inheritances from various wealthy relatives.[18]

- Father: Ancius Faustus PAULINIANUS
- Mother: Amnia DEMETRIAS
- Birth: 299
- Occupation: Proconsul of Africa
- Title Of Nobility: Roman Consul - with Valerius Proculus, Julius Julianus
- LifeSketch: Sextus Anicius Paulinus (fl. 325–333) was an aristocrat of the Roman Empire. The offices he is known to have held were: Proconsul of Africa; consul with Julius Julianus as his colleague in 325; and praefectus urbi between 331 and 333. A member of the gens Anicia, his father was probably Anicius Faustus and his brother was Amnius Anicius Julianus (consul of 322); Amnius Anicius Paulinus was probably his son or his grandson, or the son of his brother. Perhaps he is to be identified with that Anicius who was the first senator of that lineage to publicly convert to Christianity. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sextus_Anicius_Paulinus

- Father: Shapur I DE PERSE
- Mother: Kharanzim DE SEISTAN
- Birth: ABT 250, Baghdad, Iraq
- Also known as: Šābuhrduxtag
- LifeSketch: Shapurdukhtak (Middle Persian: Šābuhrduxtag, literally "daughter of Shapur"), also known as Shapurdukhtak II, was a Sasanian queen (banbishn) in the late 3rd and early 4th-centuries, who was the wife of the Sasanian king (shah) Narseh (r. 293–302). She has been suggested to be the daughter of shah Shapur I (r. 240–270), however, this is disputed. She is mentioned in the inscription at Ka'ba-ye Zartosht written in c. 262. She held the title of sagan banbishn ("Queen of the Saka"), due to her husband Narseh serving as governor of Sakastan at that time. When Narseh ascended the throne in 293, he had an investiture relief made in Naqsh-e Rostam, where he is depicted as receiving the ring of kingship from a female figure that is frequently assumed to be the goddess Anahita. However, some scholars have suggested that this may be his queen, Shapurdukhtak.

- Birth: ABT 590, Soissons, Kingdom of Neustria, Gaul, Roman Empire
- LifeSketch: Wikipedia Sichilde (ca. 590–627) was a Frankish queen consort in 618–627; married to Chlothar II.[1] She was the daughter of the Count Brunulphe II of the Ardennes and the sister of Gomatrude (598–630), who was married to Dagobert I; her maternal grandfather was royal maior domus. She married Chlothar in about 618. In 626 or 627, she was suspected of having had a relationship with Boso, son of Audolène of Étampes, and Boso was killed by the duke Arnebert on the order of Chlothar.

- Father: Sigismund DE BOURGOGNE
- Mother: Ostrogotha of the Ostrogoths
- Birth: 494, Kingdom of Bourgogne, Gaul, Frankish Empire
- Murdered by his father Sigismund: 517
- LifeSketch: According to Gregory of Tours, Sigismund married the daughter of the Ostrogoth King Theodoric. They had a son, Sigeric. The widowed Sigismund later remarried, and his second wife "maltreated and insulted her stepson". When, on a feast day in 517, Sigeric saw his stepmother dressed in his late mother's ceremonial clothes, he called out that she was unworthy to wear them. (Under Burgundian law, his mother's clothes should have gone to his sister, Suavegotha.) The Queen persuaded Sigismund to deal with his son, alleging that Sigeric planned not only to kill his father and seize the throne, but that he also had designs on his grandfather's kingdom in Italy. Sigismund ordered the young man to be taken while drunk and drowned in a well. Then, overcome with remorse, Sigismund retreated to the monastery that he had founded.

- Father: Sigramnus Nobilis in AUSTRIEN
- Mother: Landrada DE HESBAYE
- Birth: 710
- LifeSketch: this person is Ingram de Hesbaye father BUT it is not sure if his name is correct - we know that Ingrams father was a brother of Chrodegang Bischof von Metz - Chrodegangs Parents (so Ingram’s Grand Parents ) are Sigramnus, nobilis in Austrien and Landrada. Landrada is sometimes added as sister of Cancor Graf in Alemannien und Oberrheingau. This is not possible as she was born then about 740 – and this makes no sense - Other sources shown her as daughter of Chrodobertus ( Robert) – this is from the time line rather plausible. (see Detlev Schwennicke: Europäische Stammtafeln.)
- Death: (Date and Place unknown)
- Partnership with: (Unknown)
