- Execution of Servius Cornelius Scipio Orfitus: Servius Cornelius Ser. f. Scipio Salvidienus Orfitus, served at various times as quaestor and praetor urbanus, and was consul in AD 51, serving alongside the emperor Claudius. He held several priesthoods, and was governor of Africa in 62 and 63. Nero had him put to death in 66, ostensibly for wrongfully renting three shops attached to his house, but more likely because of a perceived insult.[19][20][21][22][23], 66, Rome, Italy, Roman Empire
- LifeSketch: Wikipedia Servius Cornelius Scipio Salvidienus Orfitus (died AD 66) was a Roman senator, and consul ordinarius for the year 51, as the colleague of the emperor Claudius.[1] His father Orfitus was one of the seven sons of Vistilia, a noblewoman who came from a family that had held the praetorship, although some have erroneously stated Servius himself was the husband of Vistilia.[2] He became a member of the gens Cornelia through adoption by an otherwise unknown Servius Cornelius Scipio. His career is set forth in an inscription found at Lepcis Magna, dated to AD 61 or 62.[3] According to the inscription, he was first quaestor to the emperor Claudius, then praetor urbanus; both of these are prestigious offices, and he likely owed them to his father's half-brother, Publius Suillius Rufus, who was an intimate associate of Claudius. Following his consulate in 51, Servius was inducted into the collegia of Pontifices and the sodales Augustales, two socially powerful groups. He was proconsular governor of Africa for the term Summer 62/Summer 63; one Publius Silius Celer is mentioned as his legatus or assistant. Our next glimpse of Orfitus is in Tacitus, who records that in AD in 65 that he proposed that the months of May and June be renamed Claudius and Germanicus, respectively, in honor of the emperor Nero, explaining that the deaths of Decimus and Lucius Junius Silanus Torquatus had rendered the name "Junius" inauspicious.[4] Frederik Juliaan Vervaet has argued that instead of an act of flattery, Nero and his partisans may have interpreted this proposal as a subtle form of criticism. If so, it would explain the actual motivation for Marcus Aquilius Regulus accusing Orfitus in the Senate of being a traitor to Nero the following year.[5][6] Regardless of the motivation, Orfitus was found guilty and executed.[7][8] Orfitus' son, Servius, was consul at some point before AD 87, under the Flavian dynasty, but the year has not been determined. A grandson, also named Servius Cornelius Scipio Salvidienus Orfitus, followed in their footsteps and became consul in AD 110, under the emperor Trajan.

- Father: Malahulc EYSTEINSSON
- Mother: Maud de Gamaches DE SAINT-POL
- Birth: 10 AUG 893, Saint-Sauveur, Manche, Lower Normandy, France
- Also known as: Viscount of the Cotentin, Joint Lord of the Channel Islands
- Also known as: roger de st saveur
- LifeSketch: The family of Saint-Sauveur (known as the Nigellides 1) is an important aristocratic lineage of ducal Normandy (10th-11th centuries), probably of Scandinavian origin , which lived in the Cotentin region, and in particular around Saint-Sauveur-le-Vicomte, hence the name Saint-Sauveur Its first known member is Roger, viscount, member of the Norman baronage of Duke William Lon Sword at the end of the tenth century https://fr.wikipedia.org/wiki/Famille_de_Saint-Sauveur Lineage: Roger (I), is described as a viscount in the 2nd half of the 10th century. He would be the father of Néel (I). Néel (I), son and successor of the previous one, mentioned as one of the ducal justiciars of Normandy in 1036 and cited in 1040. He won the battle of Val de Saire in 1001 against the Anglo-Saxon army of King Æthelred II of England, and repelled a Breton invasion in 1033. Néel (II), son and successor of the previous one, was present at the battle of Val-ès-Dunes in 1047 alongside the viscount of Bessin, Ranulph de Briquessart. Wace tells us that Néel then went into exile in Brittany, where he was close to Eudes, brother of Duke Alain III9. He lost his Cotentinian honour, which he only regained in 1054. In 1067, he founded the abbey of Saint-Sauveur-le-Vicomte, with Benedictines from the abbey of Jumièges10. He died around 1078. Eudes, according to Léopold Delisle, son and successor of the previous one. He should not be confused with Eudes au Chapel (+1098), Viscount of Cotentin after Néel II, who is the founder of the de La Haye family and, with his father, of Lessay Abbey between 1056 and 1064. In 1104, Eudes de Saint-Sauveur reaffirmed the freedoms previously granted to the abbey of Saint-Sauveur . Néel (III) of Saint-Sauveur, successor of the previous one in the honour of Saint-Sauveur, definitively founded around 1080 the abbey of Saint-Sauveur-le-Vicomte founded by Néel II,. Néel II had lost his position as viscount of the duke in Cotentin after 1047, but Néel III regained it and signed two acts with this title in June 1080 and in 1081-1082. According to Elisabeth van Houts, he took part in Raoul de Gaël's conspiracy in England. He is still mentioned in 1110 as viscount. Wikipedia. (2019). Famille de Saint-Sauveur. [online] Available at: https://fr.wikipedia.org/wiki/Famille_de_Saint-Sauveur [Accessed 1 Aug. 2021]. Note: de St Sauveur means from or of St Sauveur. He was Viscount of the Contentin and joint Lord of the Channel Islands in 933. He was the founder of the Chapel at St. Sauveur.

- Mother: Mathilde DE RINGELHEIM
- Birth: 24 DEC 910, Sachsen, Francia orientalis
- Also known as: Hedwig of Sachsen
- Also known as: Hedwige of Saxony
- Also known as: Hedwig
- Also known as: Hadwig Von Sachsen
- Occupation: Duchesse de Bourgogne
- Title Of Nobility: She acted as a regent during the minority of her son Hugh Capet, founder of the Elder House of Capet.
- Noble House: Ottonian dynasty (Liudolfings): (Date and Place unknown)
- LifeSketch: Hedwig was a younger daughter of the Saxon duke Henry the Fowler (c. 876 – 936), elected King of East Francia from 919, and his second wife Matilda of Ringelheim (c. 895 – 968).[1] Her siblings were Otto I, who succeeded his father as king and was crowned Holy Roman Emperor in 962; Duke Henry I of Bavaria; Gerberga of Saxony, who married King Louis IV of France in 939; and Archbishop Bruno of Cologne. After her brother Otto I came to power in 936, an alliance and marriage was arranged with the West Frankish duke Hugh the Great, who sought support in his struggles with King Louis IV. Hedwig was Hugh's third wife. They married probably in May 937.[1] When Hedwig's husband died in 956, her son Hugh Capet was still underage. Although Hugh inherited his father's estates, he did not rule independently from the beginning.[2] Along with her brother, Archbishop Bruno, Hedwig acted as Hugh's regent and administrator of the Robertian estates until he came of age. Bruno also held guardianship over his nephew King Lothair of France, son of his sister Gerberga, and temporarily raised to one of the most powerful nobles in West Francia. Hedwig backed her brother in his conflict with Count Reginar III of Hainaut and arbitrated in the rivalry between her son Hugh Capet and King Lothair. Hedwig is last mentioned in 958 by the West Frankish chronicler Flodoard of Reims and may have died soon afterward; a 965 entry by Sigebert of Gembloux seems doubtful. Hedwig had five children with her husband Hugh the Great: Beatrice of France[3] married Frederick I, Duke of Upper Lorraine. Hugh Capet (c. 941 – 996), who was crowned King of France in 987.[1] Emma of Paris (943–968), who married Duke Richard I of Normandy in 960.[4] Otto, Duke of Burgundy (945–965)[5] Henry I, Duke of Burgundy (946–1002) Life Sketch Hedwige of Saxony (also Hedwig, German: Hadwig von Sachsen; c.?910-May 10, 965), a member of the Ottonian dynasty, was Duchess consort of the Franks by her marriage to the Robertian duke Hugh the Great. Upon her husband's death in 956, she acted as a regent during the minority of their son Hugh Capet, the founder of the Elder House of Capet. «b»Life«/b» According to the medieval chronicler Widukind of Corvey, Hedwig was a younger daughter of the Saxon duke Henry the Fowler (c.?876-936), elected King of East Francia from 919, and his second wife Matilda of Ringelheim (c.?895-968). Her siblings were Otto I, who succeeded his father as king and was crowned Holy Roman Emperor in 962; Duke Henry I of Bavaria; Gerberga of Saxony, who married King Louis IV of France in 939; and Archbishop Bruno of Cologne. - Occupation: Pontifex Maximus, BET 130 BC AND 115 BC, Roma, Roman Republic
- LifeSketch: Wikipedia Publius Mucius Scaevola (c. 176 BC – 115 BC) was a prominent Roman politician and jurist who was consul in 133 BC. In his earlier political career he was tribune of the plebs in 141 BC and praetor in 136 BC. He also held the position of Pontifex Maximus for sixteen years after his consulship and died around 115 BC. Scaevola was consul at the time of Tiberius Gracchus' tribuneship and murder, and was heavily involved in reconciling the senate following Gracchus' death. According to Cicero, Scaevola supported Gracchus' land reforms (Lex Sempronia Agraria), but the extent of his involvement has been debated by some historians.[1] Publius Mucius Scaevola had a father of the same name, who was consul in 175 BC with Marcus Aemilius Lepidus.[4] Scaevola served as Pontifex Maximus following his younger brother Publius Licinius Crassus Dives Mucianus’s death. Mucianus was elected consul alongside with high priest Lucius Valerius Flaccus in the year 131 BC, after previously serving as Pontifex Maximus in 132 BC.[5][6] Scaevola was also the father of Quintus Mucius Scaevola who was a consul in 95 BC. He was responsible for the Lex Licinia Mucia, which sent Italian residents of Rome falsely claiming citizenship back to their own towns.[7] ...
- Published the Annales Maximi: Publius Mucius Scaevola became Pontifex Maximus in 130 BC, after his brother, Publius Licinius Crassus Dives Mucianus, was killed in battle while fighting in the kingdom of Pergamum.[25][26] His most notable contribution during this period was the publication of the final Annales Maximi. The Annales Maximi were annals maintained by the Pontifex Maximus, dating back to 400 BC.[27] The Pontifex Maximus, the highest-ranking priest in the Roman Republic, was responsible for recording the names of the magistrates of each year, as well as significant events. The annals ceased being written in the 130s BC, and Publius Mucius Scaevola reportedly published the complete record in his capacity as Pontifex Maximus.[28]

- LifeSketch: Wikipedia Quintus Mucius Scaevola (/ˈsiːvələ, ˈsɛv-/ SE(E)V-ə-lə; fl. late 3rd century BC) was a politician of the Roman Republic. He was made praetor in 215 BC, and became governor of Sardinia, a post that was extended twice, first for two years, and then for another year. Publius Mucius Scaevola and Quintus Mucius Scaevola, consul in 174 BC, are believed to have been his sons, and the brothers Publius Mucius Scaevola and Publius Licinius Crassus Dives Mucianus, both becoming Pontifex Maximus, were therefore his grandsons by Publius, while Quintus Mucius Scaevola Augur was his grandson by Quintus.
